Thanksgiving getaway

We stayed at the Aqua Beach Condo's over Thanksgiving week and had a great time. The condo was clean, had more than enough space for my family and is centrally located on the island. The beach is short walk (half a block) and restaurants are located within walking distance. We are already planning another trip back!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This condo is extremely well kept, very roomy and either quite new or newly refurbished. Website and photos are very accurate and the owner is very responsive and accessible. The pool is a bit small but since we never encountered the other units' guests when we chose to go, we never had a problem with crowding and the pool location (right behind the unit) is very convenient. The cleaning fee is rather significant but the facilities are immaculate so they must do a great job.

Owner response:The condo is new and is kept up to date. We try to add some amenity each time we are there. The pool is small and I refer to it as a splash pool. Our condo is set up for family stays.

Hi Ken, Check in was easy! The key was in a lockbox and I was given the code by Don when I called Sunday PM. He came by the next morning to check on us and receive his cleaning fee. I was able to lockup the unit and put the key into the lockbox when we departed. The unit was clean except for the toilet rims which only took about 2 minutes to rectify. The condo is decorated very nice. The lock on the master bedroom door to the outside is broken but the deadbolt does work. There are plenty of dishes and utensils and the kitchen has nice appliances. Your list of activities and restaurants was greatly appreciated and a nice touch. I am sure that it was more enjoyable being in your condo that in a hotel room. Our experience in SPI and in your condo was definitely positive. Thanks for helping my family build life-long memories.

Me and my family really enjoyed the stay at the island this past weekend. I will be keeping your contact info for future trips if that is okay. We had a small issue with the storage unit. When I looked at it on Thursday I put the key in and turned the door knob. It appears that it was open and after I closed it I was not able to open it again because the condo key did not work. I called Don and he stated he did not have a key for that. As you know the only thing I wanted to use was the bbq pit. I simply went over to wal-mart across the bridge and bought a $20 bbq pit so it was not a big issue. Other than that it is a great set up and we really enjoyed it.

Incidentally, we had a great time and we’ll contact you again when we find time to get down to the island. If you ever run into a slow weekend this summer (doubtful) and it looks like you are not going to get it rented for the weekend, e-mail me. I might be induced into sneaking back down there on the spur of the moment.

We had a great time! The place was immaculate when we arrived and everyone was very impressed with the way the condo was furnished. Being able to use your beach chairs, layout mats, grill and having access to a washer/dryer came in very handy! The only negative feedback was the disappointment that we didn't have the pool all to ourselves! lol Also, the pull out bed did not have sheets on it but we got around that, no biggie. I think that it might be more convenient to maybe have a full length mirror in the bedrooms which would help the women from having to fight for the use of the mirrors in the bathroom...just a thought. : ) As for stocking the place, we didn't have any extra trash bags and very little dishwashing soap so we had to go out and get those things as well as more toilet paper so having those items in stock would be convenient for future renters. I will make sure to spread the word about the condo to my friends and we would definitely use your services again.
