Conifer Cove is located in Northwestern Wisconsin just 2 hours from the Minneapolis St.Paul area. We are surrounded by 100 year old majestic pine trees. Our home and cottage sit on a hill overlooking Ascot Lake. Ascot lake is our privately owned lake, there are no other homes on this lake. Ascot Lake is a 10 acre lake that is approximately 40 feet deep. It is a very clean lake which makes it ideal for swimming and fishing. It is stocked with rainbow trout, and is home to sunfish and large mouth bass. We have a swim raft for summer fun and a large fire pit with wood provided at no extra charge. There are 3 row boat, 2 canoes and 2 paddle boats for your use at no extra charge. We also have a fish cleaning shack with lights and running water in the summer.
We are surrounded by 65 acres of wooded land that has numerous trails for hiking, biking and cross-country skiing. There is also a variety of natural wildlife to watch for, Eagles, Wood ducks, Piliated wood peckers, Deer, and an occasional Black Bear to name a few.
Conifer Cove is a wonderful place for a large get together whether it be extended family, friends, church groups, scrapbookers, quilters, boys getaway or girls weekend. There is a quilt shop and a scrapbooking store locally.
You are only minutes away from local towns which offer Groceries, Liquor, Movies theater, Restaurants, Casinos, Golf, Boutiques, Spa, Coffee shop, Antiquing, Gandy-Dancer Biking trail, ATV and Snowmobile Trails, some of the best Motorcycling roads, and much much more.
We also have a 2 bedroom cottage available (May-Oct) that can be rented with the house or separately. Please contact us for rates and details.

4 adults and 8 kids (ages 10-17) just returned from 3 days/nights at Conifer Cove. What an amazing place! Dave and Barb provided everything we needed for an incredible vacation on the lake! The trout fishing was fun, the swimming was great, everyone loved the sauna...it was beyond our expectations! This is a great place and we will be returning!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Dave and I (Barb) grew up in central Minnesota.Dave owns a Meat Market in Clear Lake ,MN that has been in the family since 1914. He is the 3rd generation and his son Travis will be the 4th. It is worth the stop if you haven't been there. Dave has been coming to Wisconsin since he was young to stay and visit his Uncle Jack who had a retirement home outside of Webster. Which happens to be our cabin now and just a short walk through the woods from Conifer Cove. We love the area and love sharing it with our guest.We are avid outdoors people, We have 4 great kids and 5 wonderful grandkids and 2 super dogs.
