Our 1920's cottage is in the heart of St.Helena. It's 3 blocks from downtown.
You can walk to Tra Vigne and Farmstead restaurants, Merryvale winery or the spa at Southbridge Hotel.
It's Located down a long drive, so it's quiet, private and off the street.
We remodeled for comfort, but kept the touches of the original cottage. The bedroom is spacious with a king size bed, sitting area and walk in closet.
There are fir floors throughout with antique and new furnishings.
The bathroom has a pedestal sink and black and white tiled shower over tub.
Kitchen with eating area for 4 is light and opens onto the deck and garden.
The spacious deck has a giant maple tree growing right through the deck. You will love having coffee or wine outside under the tree while viewing the garden and listening to the fountain.

We loved our stay in your cottage and yes the month just flew by. We felt your cottage was well supplied with everything we could possibly need, loved the chilled beer glasses in the freezer, they were perfect for a few of the evenings. Loved the king size bed with firm mattress. Your outdoor space, deck and garden were wonderful. Thanks again

My husband and I just returned from a month of bliss in this amazing place. It was everything we were looking for: private and quiet, but convenient to walk to wineries, restaurants, movies, markets. The deck off the well-furnished kitchen became our favorite place to be when we weren’t sleeping on the very comfy king bed. There is a nice walk-in closet with a brand new washer & dryer. The deck also has a beautiful garden with a bubbling fountain, a table with seating for four, a chaise lounge, Weber grill, and a lovely, shade tree growing in the middle of it. The owners are extremely gracious, patient, and helpful. They genuinely seem to have thought of everything to make you feel welcome and happy. The fact that it is in the warm, charming and friendly town of St. Helena is icing on the cake. Don't miss the Culinary Institute, the Cameo Cinema, and Gott's Roadside. Highly recommended!

Exquisite in every way; this is a perfect cottage that is tastefully decorated with charm and thoughtful consideration by owners who are lovely to know and work with. Joana and Paul take special care in the needs of their guests and accommodate in the most gracious manner. The photos are believable and true to the rendition - but the experience is even better as the warmth and full amenities of the place make this a fantastic escape that just happens to have all of the fashionable creature comforts! The surrounding area is a few minutes' walk into the town of St. Helena, a cool little dog park, and your own olive oil company gourmet grocery store next door. This experience was a great way for me to step into the community life to become a permanent resident of this area.

Thank you for a wonderful 5 week stay! The cottage is so charming with many nice emenities to make it comfortable and an absolute pleasure. You can't beat sitting on the back deck listening to the fountain with a glass of wine. And, walking distance to downtown St. Helena made it even that much better. Thank you and look forward to staying there again sometime - we'll definitely be back!
