Everything was as described. Photos reflected the description very well. Property was very clean and well maintained. When contacting the owner, I always received very prompt and pleasant replies to any questions or concerns that I had. Anyone looking for a nice place to stay, without the headaches of staying in town, this is a nice choice. Only one thing to note, which wasn't a huge deal was that the ceilings are rather low. So anyone sleeping on the bunk beds needs to be careful when sitting up or moving around. Aside from that, everything was great.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We rented this condo for a ski trip with a few friends. From the moment I received a response from the owners I knew we had made the right decision! Emails were answered quickly and Michelle was a pleasure to deal with. She made sure we had all the info we needed for our stay and made herself available for any additional questions we might have. When we walked into the condo we felt at home right away. The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and very roomy. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and we were very comfortable. They thought of everything we might need during our stay from the waffle maker to scissors! Parking was convenient and just outside the front door. The information binder provided was very helpful and we referred to it several times during our stay. The location was excellent and convenient to everything in town. The boys took the car to go skiing and I was able to get downtown via the free shuttle that was just a short walk away. Would highly recommend staying at this condo. We can't wait to return next year!!

Just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the stay at your condo. This is the second time that I have stayed in your place and I felt like I should let you know that your place is well accomidated with everything that we needed. I have two kids and one is an 8 month old and the fact that you had a play pen handy was a life saver because I had forgoten to bring one along and my wife would of made me go out and buy one. I have to comment on the beds in your place as well. After staying in your place this time when we got home we ordered some of the mattresses like the ones you have. they are so comfortable and my wife said that she had never slept so good as the week that we stayed in you place. We would also like to say thanks for making our stay such a wonderful time and we look forward to staying in your place in the future. We have decided to make it a yearly trip. Thanks for all the information pamplets that you provided in your welcome book at the condo, we used them all the time for different restaurants and they were also helpful when we were trying to find something to do around town.

Although we had an issue with paying a substantial 'refundable' deposit, we liked the location of the condo and we thought that the price was fair. There were several items that needed to be fixed, but the beds were comfy. We never could find the 4th remote that changed the channel to the TV, the utility rooms doors were broken, the blinds were bent, and the stove burners were not working, and one of the stove knobs had melted. We expected that our deposit would be credited back to our credit card as promised within three weeks. Well, here we are four weeks later and "the check is in the mail". We will never stay at this place again because of the poor customer service and the fact that the owners have used our deposit for four weeks.
Owner response:Our rental agreement details our rental/refund policy. The fully refundable sec. dep. is on par with, if not less than, other sec. deposits we’ve seen. Unfortunately, we were evacuated & displaced due to Hurricane Irene. I contacted the guest, apologized for the delay, & had his refund ready 1 wk later than usual. He was never “promised” a cc refund. We process all refunds by check & have done so since our 1st guest. “Several” items didn’t require fixing. We were told shortly before this guest’s stay that 1 laundry area door was off track & 1 stove knob was slightly burned (but fully functional). We don’t bother guests during stays unless absolutely necessary. The 1st day avail. for repair, when the condo was vacant, was the day after this guest left & 1 day before the next guest arrived. We immediately fixed the door, have since upgraded our stove (we upgrade something every trip we make) and, in fact, donated our old stove (since it was still fully functional). His call about a damaged venetian blind was the 1st we heard of it. It had a few bent slats (normal wear & tear) & was replaced. The remote he “never could find” simply fell under the couch, as that is where it was found by a following guest. Also, 4 remotes have since been replaced by 1 “user friendly” universal remote. In an email, he said we had a “nice place,” but wasn’t happy w/us having held a sec. dep. for any amount of time & for collecting it by cc and refunding in cash. He said this was his ONLY complaint. To date, we’ve had no issues w/our refund method; and we made every effort to apologize and maintain constant communication w/him due to a natural disaster that was beyond our control. As for “poor customer service,” we’re available to guests 24/7 & address all issues, such as those named above, ASAP. In fact, when this guest called 2x during his stay (re: remote & venetian blind) we answered immediately & addressed the issues. We’ve put great effort into making our condo one guests will visit for yrs to come; so we take all concerns very seriously. In only a few yrs, we already have guests who visit annually & are continually impressed w/our condo & cust. svc. It’s a shame this guest felt he had a neg. experience w/this rental. But, we maintained communication w/him when his refund was delayed & addressed all “issues” he had immediately as well. Normal wear & tear can’t be avoided. But, we address all issues/damages IMMEDIATELY so that all guests feel at home when at our condo.

This was a great place to enjoy our father-daughter ski weekend! Your condo is first-class: stocked with everything we needed, great furnishings and a great location. We had three great days of skiing at Breck & Keystone. The hot-tub felt great each afternoon on our sore muscles! Thanks for everything!

We are back again! Had an awesome time. Beds are perfect. Families should check out Frisco Tubing and Snowboard Hill (great for new snowboarders). Tubing awesome. Buy lift tickets at Pioneer Sports by Walmart (Frisco). They are approx. $10 cheaper than the mountain. Went ice fishing, caught 19" Rainbow Trout and 2 Brown Trout. Dog sledding at Good Time Adventures AWESOME!!! Would do it again!!! We need to try this place out in the summer. Bet fishing, hiking and mountain biking are awesome. Thanks for a great time!

This is the absolute best place to stay...everything is new, super clean and there is nothing you could want for. From the kitchen that has every single utenscil made to man or woman, to the high-tech flat screen t.v.'s in all rooms and to the luxurious bedding and bath towels you would think that you were in a 5 star hotel. The owners have spared no expense on this place and the location is the best, you are close to everything from eating to the lifts...you could not be in a better location. We have already booked a return visit and would never think of staying anyplace else....this is a must..It is good for a weekend romantic get-away or for a group who want to ski...We will never stay anyplace else except at "Breck Hideaway ".

Thanks for a great week in your cozy condo. We loved the well equipped kitchen and great location. We biked the rec path, went white water rafting, tried mountain biking, hiked to Upper Mohawk Lake and took the gondola and ski lift up Peak 8. Our boys enjoyed the lake and streams. We had a great time at your condo. We all loved the hot tub and clean house and FYI [book]! I love your interior design! We had fantastic weather everyday! Breck sure is a neat, wonderful, little town. We enjoyed hiking and just relaxing in the condo! You have everything here to make it a nice relaxing place! The children LOVED the bunk beds. We really had a great time at your "Breck Getaway." The location is perfect, close to all of the things we wanted to do. You thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as home. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedrooms were awesome. I NEVER slept as well as on the beds here. They are very comfortable; plenty of pillows and blankets. We think you spent a lot of time making sure your guests would be happy and comfortable. We certainly were. Thank you for a great experience. We will recommend your condo to friends and family; and we will definitely come back again. Maybe we will try out the summer in Colorado. Thanks again.

Your condo is beautiful. I think I speak for my entire group of friends when I write that we all immediately felt at home here. A 29 hour car/van ride (miserable, tired, looonnnngggg) was resolved perfectly by this condo. Comfortable beds! Truly, it has been a pleasure to stay here. Frankly, I feel completely honest when I write these words of gratitude, for I truly feel "yous" have gone above and beyond. I wish my landlord took half as much care with my apartment.
