Our home is located on the north end of beautiful Torch Lake; it includes 4 bedrooms each with a queen bed and 4 full baths (one master on both the 1st and 2nd level). The kitchen, dining and living area are open with gorgeous views of the lake. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of two large decks watching the sun change the water colors before your eyes. In the evening enjoy an outdoor bonfire watching the moon rise over the lake.
This property has 100 feet of lakefront, including a private dock. Bring your boat, rent a boat or just enjoy the quite sights and sounds of the waves. If golf is your game bring your clubs as A-Ga-Ming golf course with 36 holes is located just stone's throw away.
Torch Lake was named the third most beautiful lake in the world by National Geographic Magazine. The lake is 18.5 miles long and 2.5 miles wide and is part of a chain of lakes, which allows boating from Torch Lake to Elk Lake and to Lake Bellaire. You can easily boat all day and never seen the same scenery twice.
Traverse City, Charlevoix, the Leelanau Peninsula, and Petoskey are all within an hour's drive. Interlochen National Music Camp (offering excellent concerts), Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, Mackinac Island, and the Soo Locks are a little farther but are well worth visiting. A host of restaurants are close by and range from fine dining to local bar fare.
