Location: Pine Knoll Shores, Central Coast, Coastal, North Carolina, USA
Accommodations: Condominium, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 7-9)
We are located on the crystal coast of North Carolina, where the gulfstream is just off our shores and keeps the water warm and a gorgeous blue-green crystal color. You can surf-fish right off our beach and catch blues, flounder, sheepshead and sea bass. The beach is also perfect for surfing, body or boogie boarding, shelling, and kite surfing. If you don't know how, take a lesson from the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores across the street.
There are ample day or weekly marinas around here to park your boat and then grab a picnic lunch from the New York Deli on the Atlantic Beach Causeway and go explore. Cape Lookout with its tourist center and lighthouse. Sand Dollar Island is a popular place to picnic and look for sand dollars at low tide. Go to Shackleford Banks and motor around the island to look for the wild mustang horses munching on the grasses. Definitely bring a clam rake and head to Beaufort's remote islands in the river and dig up your dinner. Or drive your boat up to one of the many Morehead City restaurants and dock it for a great seafood dinner.
The Gulfstream fishing here is world famous. Charter a captain and their boat to take you for a full or half day of gulfstream fishing. There are multiple charter companies in Morehead City, Beaufort or Atlantic Beach, just 7 miles down the road.
When your day is done, head home to the condo to chill and sit on the oceanfront balcony and watch the dolphins swim by.

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2003
My husband and I have 5 children, ages 5 - 15. We bought this condo and have furnished it with children in mind. It is family friendly, no stressful furniture or breakable items. It is fully equipped with beach chairs, beach toys, beach umbrellas and beach towels. The NC Aquarium is across the street. The multiple levels of this condo give each level of the family a place to relax. We love our beach - it is clean, with sandbars, and uncrowded. The condo has a pool with a small child wading pool.
Why the Owner Chose Pine Knoll Shores
We bought this condo to spend time at the beach with our kids. There are multiple marinas near by, we park our carolina skiff at one of the marinas and take off to explore like the pirates did. We go clamming (dinner that night), look for the wild horses, explore old shipwrecks, and go to Sand-Dollar Island to look for sand dollars. We also go fishing under piers, go to cape lookout lighthouse, and cast-netting. Great location for family stuff!
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
The kids often walk to the North Carolina Aquarium across the street, or go biking in the Pine Knoll Shores Town. The aquarium offers classes in surfing, surf fishing, kayaking, clamming, and special kids nights.
