This is the second time we stayed at this house - and it really does have everything. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, nice living room and dining room. And the hot tub just tops it off - great after a day of skiing. Lots of space outside for kids to play in the back yard too. Great location too, right outside of town. I'm sure we'll stay here again next year!

Our Tahoe family vacation is one we look forward to each year. We loved this cabin. From the hot tub to the dinning room table. We found the cabin very comfortable for a family of 5 (all adult Children). Although this would have been the perfect place when my children were small. Tire swing and tree house right in the large backyard. We had friends that were just across the street and they joined us for dinner each night. The kitchen was large enough to accommodate cooking for such a large group. The location is prime. Hiking was at hand without even getting in the car. I can't imagine a better location for all the fun to be had in Tahoe. We hope to return sometime soon.

Stayed here with some friends on a nice september weekend. It's a great house, nothing fancy, but nicely appointed, in good condition and very comfy. Great deck with hot tub and a nice yard for the dogs. We came to mountain bike and there are a bunch of good trails that are easy biking distance from the house.

The house was really cute and comfortable to stay in. I loved the location, very close to the river, lake, stores, and downtown Tahoe City. The area is extremely quiet and a great place to relax. The treehouse was my daughter's favorite part, she played in it everyday. The master bed was amazingly comfortable! Plenty of room to sleep and the second bathroom is very nice for when people are over. Well stocked kitchen and beautiful views. The backyard is quite large and backs up to mostly forest. I would go back anytime! Eric was very helpful and responded quickly to all my needs, he is very pleasant to work with.

We really enjoyed our stay at this darling vacation rental. The listing accurately depicted the home, and the photos matched perfectly so our expectations were met as soon as we arrived. The property was tidy and cute, and the backyard exceeded our expectations. It was PERFECT for kids! The owner was responsive and very nice. We stayed here with our two young kids, with another couple who has a toddler and the home was perfect size for all of us. Thank you for making it such a great stay!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! It was perfect for our family of 5 during summer vacation. Great to have space to hang out in low-key comfort. We had some lovely evening walks in the quiet neighborhood. Loved the hot tub! Enjoyed exploring Tahoe City beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc. We will try to come again in winter.

We stayed for two weeks during a very snowy time, at one point with three adults and four kids, at another point with three adults, one kid, and one dog. Everyone loved it. For kids, there's a great yard with a treehouse, tire swing, and hot tub. For adults there's great proximity to snowshoeing and x-c, and to the bakery. For pets there's a big yard, quiet streets, and proximity to open-space trails. And for everyone there's a cozy house with lots of storage, sleds in the shed, well-equipped kitchen, warm beds, etc. And for skiers there's a bench in the foyer for putting on/off boots, a zillion places to hang coats, a great stove for drying out mittens and socks, and the snowplow comes early! The owner is very friendly, and very helpful. Couldn't ask for more.

Cozy warm house, Hot tub is private off the back deck at the edge of the forest.... This is in a nice neighborhood and is close to everything, but quiet and secluded.... one feels away from it all.... a beautiful 5 minute walk through the forest to a place called "Tahoe House" has the best coffee I have ever had. A 3 block walk down to the river, and there is fishing, my soon hooked a ginormous brown trout, broke the line right before he landed it! A short 15 minute drive to Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley, a couple of the best snow resorts on the west coast, about 10 minutes from Homewood,,, a friendly little local snow resort, there is even a snowresort with two lifts and sledding within walking distance.... Granlibakken?,,,,, good restaurants within walking distance also, great cycling right out the door, mountain biking on forest paths or paved road biking,,,, minutes from the beach and all kinds of boat and watercraft rentals... great base camp for fun

We enjoyed this cozy, quiet house - and hottub - as our home for a long weekend. It's located very conveniently to town, the lake, and the ski areas Homewood and Alpine Meadows.

This place is great! We particularly enjoyed the hot tub just a few steps out the back door. The huge backyard kept the kids thoroughly entertained. It's everything we expected based on the pictures and description: cozy, warm, just the right size for the four of us with room to spare. The location can't be beat. We will be repeat guests for sure.

We had a great time and this was the perfect house for our young children and golden retriever. Only 20 minutes from Alpine Meadows, short drive to many restaurants, and great sledding in the backyard and nearby.
