This is a great little Tico-style house in Uvita. It's simple (and affordable), but nice. It's a great Costa Rican experience. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and an amazing view of the ocean, beach, and whale's tail from both inside and outside the house. It has a fantastic breeze that blows through that keeps it comfortable year round.
There is one king sized bed (a TempurPedic, and yes, they are great) and 2 twin beds. One in the 2nd bedroom and one in the living room. There is a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and single burner stove. All linens and dishes are provided.
There is a lot to do and see nearby. The Uvita area has beautiful beaches, some good for surfing and some swimming, tell me what you’re looking for and I will point you in the right direction. Also, there are several excursions in the area worth checking out. The horseback ride to the Nauyaca waterfall is amazing. Also, boats can be taken to Cano Island, which has world class snorkeling and diving.
There are also ATV tours of the area available. The area is teaming with wildlife. Many monkeys, iguanas, coatis, and birds (toucans and parrots) call Uvita home.
