Charming, romantic cottage on 1 acre with fireplace, private pool and vineyard in Sonoma. Completely remodeled with a Provencal themed kitchen, 2 updated bathrooms, and hardwood floors. Fully furnished and tastefully decorated with comfortable Provencal inspired decor. Well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Perfect for a family, 2-3 couples, or a friends getaway. Flat screen TV and DVD player in the living room with cable service. There's also WiFi (Wireless Internet) and Free Long Distance telephone service so you can stay connected.
Fabulous location in Northern California Wine Country. Within walking distance to Buena Vista, Gundlach-Bunschu, Ravenswood and Sebastiani wineries, and a 5 minute bike ride to Sonoma's historic Plaza. Easy access to Sonoma, Carneros, and Napa wineries.
Here you can enjoy your own private one acre property in a centrally located wonderfully appointed 3 BR/2 BA cottage. You'll have a fully equipped kitchen in which to cook (including cookbooks) and a vegetable garden that you can pick veggies from for your meals. You can relax by the cozy fireplace or on the back patio overlooking the pool, vineyard, barn, gardens and beyond to the mountains. Or lounge in the cabana with a book or just lie in the hammock next to the rose garden. It's a very romantic, tranquil and peaceful retreat. It's private, yet you can walk to nearby wineries. Sonoma Plaza with great restaurants and shopping is only 5 min. away.
The Tuscan colored Master Bedroom and Bath features a Cal King pillowtop bed, a TV, and sliding doors out to the patio. The attached bathroom has a shower for 2. The Blue Room has a romantic Queen size brass bed and looks out to the garden. The Green Room has a wrought-iron day bed with 2 Twin beds which can be converted to a King, and sliding doors out to a private porch and the garden. The second bath has a tub/shower combo, with room for 2, and a pedestal sink. Both bathrooms have Kohler fixtures.
The well-equipped kitchen has a large butcher block work space and seating for 2 at the bar. Recently remodeled, the kitchen features a new butcher block island, tile, paint, lighting, appliances and fixtures. The living room is cozy and has a flat screen TV, a DVD player, a fireplace and reading lamps. The sunroom is a perfect place to curl up on the couch and read a book. There are games, books and magazines for your enjoyment.
Outside there's a saline pool with child-proof cover, cabana with chaise lounges, and a large patio with comfortable seating and an outdoor table and chairs for 6. There’s an outdoor barbecue, a hammock and even horseshoes and a dart board for fun.
The Sonoma Valley has it all with award-winning wineries and restaurants, great art galleries and boutiques, hiking, biking, live music, theatre and much more. We are centrally located so you can enjoy it all.

Some friends, my husband and I stayed at this property over Labor Day weekend. It was a wonderful place to stay! The size of the house was perfect for the 6 of us. We made some great meals with the tomatoes from the garden and grilled one night. In the morning our group would go out for runs, the area is just far enough out of the city where it felt like a country getaway even though the square was less than a 5 min drive. We made great use of the pool and games provided. The owner was very easy to coordinate with - I would highly recommend staying at this property.Did you find this review helpful? My husband and I enjoyed this past weekend at this sweet cottage with wonderful pool and backyard vineyard. Although we were a little apprehensive when we first saw the exterior, we were pleasantly surprised by how bright and cheery and spacious the house is. And the backyard pool area is just what we were looking for. We brought our bikes and enjoyed biking to town and nearby wineries. We also enjoyed the clean heated pool, the beautiful rose garden, the hammock, eating dinner in the backyard, playing darts and just unwinding in a peaceful setting. There are a number of chickens and roosters next door that we thought might wake us up, but you can't hear them from the bedroom and we slept soundly in the comfy bed. I would highly recommend this place and hope to return another time later in the season so we can also enjoy the vast vegetable garden too.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We recently spent a weekend, We had such a relaxing weekend. The place is very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the pool was wonderful. There is a lovely garden and games. Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the warm weather. We got to see baby quail, a fox and wood peckers. Its close to the Sonoma Square but not too close so you do feel like you are in the country. We would definately stay again and would recommend for a longer stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My friends and I had a wonderful time here in this beautiful clean, warm and lovingly appointed home, on the peaceful Sonoma east side. We swam in the gorgeous saline pool, lounged on the patio and barbequed outside. The large sunny kitchen with island in middle was perfect for our group, as we all prepared dinner together. Each of the bedrooms was equipped with comfortable beds, and there were plenty of extra towels. Enjoyed fresh lettuce from the garden (yum!) Our group ranged in age from 9 months to 50, and think everyone was quite happy with the accommodations! Loved celebrating my birthday here, and can't wait to come back! Highly recommend!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful time at your home over the weekend. Our friend Pam was turning 50, so we had a small group of people over for a BBQ and we truly enjoyed lounging out poolside. It was a bit chilly to go in the pool, but we didn't mind. We also enjoyed many great walks to downtown & various wineries. Such a great location, and a peaceful place to stay whether you are relaxing or celebrating.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Thank you for letting us stay here. We had a great time, the pool was wonderful and the pool cover was good to have, especially with 2 young ones running around! The eggplant & onion were delicious. Why the Owner Chose Sonoma:
We chose Sonoma and this location in particular because with this one acre and our charming cottage and petite vineyard we get to have a little slice of la dolce vita. It's in a great location - easy to get to and within walking distance to great wineries and biking distance to the Plaza. It's convenient if you want to be in Sonoma but be able to easily and quickly get to Napa as it is on the East side of Sonoma. Plus with one acre we have plenty of space to stretch out. There's a pool, cabana, large patio, a rose garden and much more - we really enjoy the outdoor space. We also love the peace and tranquility that we have and yet if we want to stroll around the Plaza or go anywhere in wine country - we can easily do so. And while we get to be home winemakers- you will get to enjoy our beautiful vineyard!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We really enjoy relaxing in the back yard. We love to play darts and horseshoes and swim in the pool. We enjoy having BBQ's out on the patio and relaxing in the hammock next to the rose garden. We also love to walk around our neighborhood and to the nearby wineries. When we're inside we like reading in the sunroom and playing games. We also enjoy our flat screen TV with cable and movies on DVD. When we cook we have cookbooks and all the necessary things we need so that we can make great meals. Also the house is set back from the street so it's quiet and private. Lying in the hammock at night gazing at the stars is so relaxing!
