This home provides for your comfort and privacy in many ways. As you approach the home, you will drive to the end of the cul-de-sac on the southwest corner. You will enjoy ample private parking in addition to a large clean double garage. Upon entering, you will feel at home and everyone will enjoy private and comfortable sleeping and bath facilities. Common areas are open, warm, and comfortable with beautiful views of the pool, docks, canals, and Bimini Bay to the south. The living area opens to the screened Lanai with a 4 door sliding door that increases the common area size and allows one to feel at one with the outside. This is our home and we have tried to anticipate our guest's needs and provide them with a wonderful vacation.
This home is a boater's or RVer's paradise within a 5 minute walk from the Town Pier and shopping on the Intracoastal Waterway, and easy access to the Gulf Beaches. We have enjoyed lengthy bike rides (bike rentals nearby) down the Island to St. Armand's Circle (20 miles each way) where excellent shopping and dining are available in addition to the incredibly varied restaurants within 5 miles (many are within walking distance) of the house. The pool offers a high degree of privacy with good quality chairs, loungers, and tables. Adjacent to the pool are the docking facilities capable of holding a 50 ft. cruiser (not a deep keeled sailboat) in addition to a lift holding a 9000 lb. boat or approx. 26 ft. in length. We are devoted to fitness so we have a fine exercise room/playroom downstairs adjacent to the garage with 2 Precor elliptical machines, exercise balls, dumbbells, and roman chair for core strengthening. There are day gyms in the area as needed. We enjoy TV so there are 7 HDTV's with DIRECTV HD located in the 3 bedrooms, study, kitchen, living room, and exercise room (at least 3 having the DVR option). For those that simply cannot leave work at home, there is a wonderful study with wireless high speed internet overlooking the pool and canals so one could still be involved in the family activities.

- For those needing privacy for business issues, there is a private study isolated with new French Doors from the other portions of the house but enjoying the best views of the pool, canals, and Bimini bay. It is equipped with high speed wireless and has a flat screen TV with DIRECTV, a large desk, a rocking chair and wonderfully comfortable love seat and ottoman for quiet enjoyment of the views or a good book, The downstairs recreation center has an excellent exercise area with 2 Precor elliptical machines, exercise balls, roman chair, and variety of dumbbells. Also within this large area is a large flat screen TV with DIRECTV, a queen size sofa bed and direct access to the pool a dock area, the private pool has excellent privacy from all neighbors, a large number of good lounge chairs, tables and single chairs, has an outdoor shower and is one half flight of steps from toilet facilities, alongside the pool the 120 foot Sea Wall has excellent docking facilities.

- Not Suitable for Children: Property has 120 ft long seawall and like most seawalls, there is no ladder or steps to get out of the water if one falls in. It could be a problem for small children without supervision. The pool presents a similar risk.

Why the Owner Chose Anna Maria
We saw this house and enjoyed the view, the floor plan, the proximity to so much including the events in Sarasota, St Pete Beach, and Tampa while offering a bit of privacy and small town feeling. We particularly enjoy the absence of large condos obscuring the beach and skylines and the commitment of the Town Council to maintain that situation.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The unique features of our house revolve around the degree of privacy we enjoy by being at the end of the cul-de-sac and having landscaping that delivers some privacy from both neighbors, road traffic, and boat traffic on the canals. We enjoy the comments of our guests that feel more at home here than many places with all bedrooms having private bathrooms, a fine study, and an excellent exercise facility/playroom downstairs.
