An ideal vacation destination for families or couples traveling together, Norton's cottage on Orcas Island was the original home of Felix and Esther Norton who crafted Orcas Island's first resort in Deer Harbor.
Located on a knoll overlooking Deer Harbor, Norton's cottage is a short stroll down the hill to many Orcas Island activities including: sea kayaking, whale watching, and beach combing. Or walk across the street to enjoy a fabulous home cooked meal at the Deer Harbor Inn's Restaurant.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with full kitchen and laundry privileges. Stretch out on our large leather sofa and look for eagles passing by. Or relax in the Jacuzzi spa out on the deck with views of the sunset over the lagoon in Deer Harbor and the warm glow of the Olympic mountains to the south of Orcas Island.
Norton's cottage has lodging accommodations for up to 8 comfortably in queen size beds, a canopy king, or a full size futon bunk. House equipped with a pack-and-play crib, inflatable bed, record player with selection of LPs, pool table, foosball, darts, full kitchen and laundry.

This house is so amazing, very roomy and comfortable. We went with a group of 7 and hated to go home! Check in/out was amazingly easy! It was well stocked and clean, no need to bring extra pots, pans, towels. There was even wood there for us to light a fire. Not far from the Ferry at all. Only thing was no cell service and no local long distance (which was good and bad) just make sure to get the house number if you need to leave it for family members for emergencies! Beautiful view. Took a trip down to the Deer Harbor Marina and got some beautiful pictures!! We can't wait to go again! Thanks Ryan!!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway.
