Charming remodeled duplex in the heart of Eastport. This is a 2-story house, built in 1923. There are refinished hardwood floors throughout. Location is on Third Street.
A short walk to downtown historic Annapolis, City Dock, excellent restaurants, such as Ruth's Chris, Lewnes Steak House, and Chart House. Pick up the water taxi at City Dock down the street.
Very private backyard with huge deck, rock garden with water feature, separate stone patio, charcoal and gas grills, as well as attractive landscaping.
This house is located on a quiet side street, yet close to all that Annapolis has to offer. Parking is on-street parking, but has never been a problem. The cozy front porch, with wicker furniture, faces shade garden and beautiful dogwood tree.
The furniture is an eclectic mix: uncluttered, simple, yet stylish. The walls were recently painted in soft, attractive colors. The remodeled main bath has a skylight and appealing ceramic tiles. The rooms are light and airy. The kitchen is fully equipped.
There are hardwood floors throughout, as well as a variety of new wool carpets. The beds and mattresses are new and very comfortable. This house has lots of character, as well as great neighbors.
Steep stairs going up--be careful!
WiFi included.
Immaculately furnished and cared for.

We had a wonderful SJC Homecoming Weekend made all the more enjoyable by finding this perfect gem of a home-away from home! Arrangements and communication was stellar. Our recent stay at this fabulous house did not disappoint! We were extremely happy with the spotless interior. The pictures do not do this home justice. The antiques, hardwood floors, and cozy rooms made our stay very comfortable. The backyard is magical. The water feature and beautiful plants and trees made sitting out on the patio a really special experience. It was an easy and scenic walk to the USNA where we could walk to the yard to visit our midshipman. The house is very spacious and well thought out. Having a washer and dryer was also very handy. The porch was perfect for having a glass of wine in the evening. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing.

I stayed at this charming duplex for a girl's weekend with my mother. The home was cozy and so comfortable. The weather did not cooperate for us to use the great outdoor space in the back or the inviting chairs on the front porch. It would be a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and people watch. The house was stocked with everything you will need. While the kitchen had everything that we could ever need, as family cooks, we opted to eat out. There are great places to eat within walking distance of this property. It is also close to the historic district for all your touring and shopping desires. Our host, Sonja, was so wonderful. She was quick to answer all our questions and was there to show us around when we arrived. The stairs are steep as the description says, but we had no problems with them. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we return to Annapolis.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.
Owner response: Kathy, Thank you for the kind words. Sorry about the weather not cooperating---even now it's unseasonably cool. Please visit again!

Its always a little unnerving to choose a house over the internet, but this house was a great find! From the very beginning, the owners were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions. The house itself proved better in real life than in the pictures. This quaint old house was charming yet immaculately clean. It had a updated modern feel with updated and soft linens. The house is configured in such a way that family members can all have their space: two bedrooms upstairs are private and quiet sleeping areas, the living room area for TV, and the kitchen area for conversation and coffee. Located on a quiet one-way street a nice walk to downtown Annapolis. If there is availability on the days you want to visit, this is a great house to book.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you for your warm review. Our house, though old, is a work in progress, as we imagine all old houses to be. Comfort and cleanliness are our most important objectives, though. We are truly lucky to have such great guests as you!

Our family of four (children aged 9 and 12) enjoyed this immaculate and charming home as our base for touring the Baltimore/Washington area. The rooms are spacious and decorated with care. All needs were catered to, including suitcase rack in master bedroom closet, thick bath towels and many visitors guides to the area. Our favourite places in the home were the front porch and backyard patio. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the home, our favourite being The Boatyard. There is also a cute playground in the neighbourhood. Annapolis is within walking distance over the bridge but there is a public parking lot since you'll be walking a lot in this historic city and taking advantage of its great shops (The Horse Boutique is a great ladies wear store). Another must is a 40 minute trip on the Miss Anne around the harbour. What you see is what you get which is perfection. The owners are also great to deal with and are eager to make sure your stay is just right. We can hardly wait to come back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Jane, Simon, Ben, and Kate were a young family visiting from Canada. We took a liking to them right away. As so many of our previous guests, the Rayners enjoyed the location and charm of our weekend getaway. They left the house in excellent condition, and we hope that they will visit again.

We enjoyed our stay. The rental was clean and the location was ideal. It was close to the USNA, numerous restaurants, and to downtown. We will definitely stay there again.Owner response: We do our best to make our guests's stay as comfortable as possible, and judging by the number of repeat visitors we are receiving, it is working.

This is a beautiful house in a great location. The house is extremely clean and well decorated. The neighborhood is very quiet, but you are only a short walk from many great restaurants, bars, boutique stores etc (as a side note, try the Boatyard - great oysters!). The photos listed on the website accurately show what the house looks like - large kitchen with a lot of counter space, big living room, and a gorgeous backyard with a large deck. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit Annapolis!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

Only positive things to say about this rental. Very comfortable, quiet, and nice location for just walking around Eastport or visiting downtown Annapolis. The family of red foxes noted in the writeup are not a problem at all. If you Google red foxes you will find that this is not uncommon. Tried to get close enough to take some pictures, but they disappeared. Would definitely rent here again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

Our stay in Eastport for my daughter's wedding was wonderful, as it was just a short walk to many restaurants, shopping, the historic downtown sites, the Naval Academy; and just two blocks from the water made it easy to watch sunrises and sailboats on my early morning walks. The upstairs bedrooms and bath were spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the washer and dryer and kitchen facilities, and even made use of the charcoal grill for a couple of great meals. The house was clean and charmingly decorated. Although parking on the street is limited at times, we did not have a problem finding parking as needed.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in Eastport. It was close enough to downtown Annapolis that we could walk, but far enough away from the noise at night. The quaint streets are wonderful for a stroll and the restaurants nearby vary from expensive to casual. We were able to walk to go kayaking, eat, shop and it was a short drive to the Navy game. The streets are narrow, but we were always able to find a parking spot. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house. It was decorated nicely and we had everything we needed. It's nice to be able to cook and eat at the house so you don't have to eat out every meal. I would certainly recommend staying here over a hotel. You get a better feel of the town, as if you stepped back in time, and have more space and options for meals and relaxation.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
