This property is unique, sitting at the confluence of the Rosebud and Stillwater Rivers. The fishing is phenomenal, right off the back porch. There are always deer and other wildlife about, sometimes right in the yard. Secluded and private, but close to town on a well maintained county road. You must see it to believe the breathtaking beauty of this land. Great views of the Beartooth Mountains. You have access to cross country skiing, boating, rafting, horseback riding all within one mile. It is also handicap friendly with a handicap bathroom, and ramp.
I also have a guide service, called Paintbrush Adventures Inc. There are horseback rides right outside your door for an addition fee as well as fishing trips. I have been in business for 27 years. My guide service has one of the largest permits in the Beartooth Mountains, offering a variety of trips.

I am a 5th generation rancher, living on the same land my great-grandfather did. I have two children and two grandchildren, as well as some 20 or so other kids I've taken in over the years. I love the outdoors; fishing, hunting, hiking, and horseback riding. I also have a guide service, called Paintbrush Adventures Inc. There are horseback rides right outside your door for an addition fee as well as fishing trips. I have been in business for 27 years. We were expecting to stay in a nice place but we arrived to find everything was beyond our expectations. The cabin is very clean and well furnished. The setting is magical and the cabin is situated to fully enjoy it. The location felt remote yet we were minutes from Red Lodge, Absarokee, and the mountains making this place a great base camp for an endless list of outdoor activities. Our host, Wanda worked with us to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

If anyone has an opportunity to spend sometime at Wanda's Fishing Haven Home, we would highly recommend this lovely home. The home has a warm, welcoming aura, was very clean, well-equipped, well-maintained and was more than we expected. Just listening to the rushing water, birds, neighing of horses in the distance, gazing at the stars and smelling the fresh air left us with a sensation of tranquility - almost like a taste of heaven. We were reluctant to leave this peaceful haven, but we did go on some nearby hikes and enjoy the majestic mountains, see a beautiful waterfall and partake of good food at restaurants in nearby towns. Of special note was the Grizzly Restaurant in Roscoe that served great burgers. We were told that the fishing was excellent. We found Wanda and Tini to be very special and caring people. They, along with their staff, were very helpful and offered suggestions to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will treasure the memory of our stay at this home.
