Our 2 bdrm/2 bath beach house is ideal for the active family looking for adventure off the grid in unspoiled tropical wilderness. Scarlet Macaws, toucans, monkeys and sloths are commonly seen from the lanai and adventure is just outside. Great right hand point waves when the swell is on, or adrenaline pumping adventures offered through Everyday Adventures when it's flat.
Kids (meaning, parents) enjoy playing on the beach swings, trampoline, mini zipline and multitude of toys, though a family movie can be enjoyed on the 110v solar system should you bring a DVD player.
Since you know your diet preferences, the cooking is done by you after you have shopped in Puerto Jimenez and stocked up for your stay. However, 3 local restaurants can be taken advantage of with reservations. All are w/i 15-45 minutes walking or a 5 minute drive.

T&A, thanks so much for hosting another amazing lifetime experience. It was great to see you and the family again. The Las Olas cabin provided us with comfort and Costa Rican style relaxation, including the hammocks, incredible open air bathroom, and sounds of the ocean to lull us to sleep. As usual, the sights on the rainforest treks were unforgettable, and we never knew termites make such a tasty snack! Next time we visit, we're going to make sure to try the tree climb. As usual, the beaches, warm water, and offerings from mother ocean made it difficult to leave. We can't wait to return to enjoy the local hospitality, natural wonders, your collective vast knowledge of the area, and to challenge you again at horseshoes. Pura Vida!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

Year Purchased: 2004
About the owner: Andy & Terry have been living at Finca Sueño Verde since 2001 and had first renovated a small watchmans house into Cabina El Sol before building Cabina Las Olas from the ground up, in 2004. Andy uses his wildlife biology background in all the tours he offers with Everyday Adventures. Terry, his wife, manages everything including the local SV elementary homeschool co-op. Their children, Talon and Cayenne, were born in Costa Rica and spot animals better than their Dad!

We are the MOST kid-friendly property in all of Cabo Matapalo. The zipline, giant swing, trampoline, fort and ping-pong aren't even half of it! There's also incredible wildlife, flawless surf and abundant fish!
