Why the Owner Chose Honua Kai
The beach right out from the Honua Kai Resort is one of the best known snorkeling spots. We love the fact that it is never crowded. For those who wish to enjoy walking but not be directly in the sand there is a newly constructed boardwalk which spans all the way to the famous "Black Rock" beach. The Honua Kai is a luxury resort. It is located on northern end of the world famous Ka'anapali beach. This brand new, breathtaking resort is the "buzz" of the vacation industry. It is "THE" place to stay while in Maui, very centrally located to all activities on the island.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love the tropical weather, the ocean, the beach, the sand, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, superb dining, art galleries, great shopping, Maui is the place to be. We enjoy watching the whales breeching from Jan. to April and the dolphins and sea turtles frolicking in the surf in the summer months. There is an endless amount of activities or we just plain relax and soak up the rays. The snorkeling is always a favorite for us. Oh, and the incredible ahi and poke available on the island. Lounging by the pool has always been a "top 10" thing to do. The Honua Kai has three state of the art swimming pools. One "formal pool" to swim laps or cool off. This pool features an infinity edge, aqua lounges and two hot tubs. The "River" pool has a hot tub, natural pond and deck area. The "Ohana" pool has upper falls, a water feature, a waterslide and a children's pool with a sandy beach. This resort has a distinct pool setting for every type of guest. The Duke's Maui is a world class beachfront restaurant located on site. While sipping Mai Tai's and enjoying appetizers you can view whales breeching, (Jan. thru April), dolphins and sea turtles, snorkelers, surfers, kayakers, long boarders and small sailboats.

After many years of vacationing on this beautiful island of Maui, we had the opportunity to purchase our very own piece of heaven. Between the warmth of the sun, relaxing on the beach, the magical spirit of the islands, after a trip to Maui, we leave rejuvenated and counting the time until our next visit. Can I just say that to step away from the busy, sometimes hectic lifestyles from the mainland to the relaxing, serenity and Aloha spirit of the islands leaves an imprint on your soul. It truly is a magical experience. Now that our family has grown to include three beautiful grandchildren we plan on sharing our love of the island and creating memories with them.

This was a magnificent place to stay. The place was very large and roomy. The kitchen had all the amenities we could have asked for. The view was incredible. There was a fantastic little grocery store on the property as well as near-by farmer's markets. The owners were wonderful to deal with and all the directions were very straight forward. I look forward to returning soon.

Wow...that pretty much sums it up. This place was immaculate. It was comfortable (beds, especially), beautiful, easy to use, packed with everything we needed...absolutely perfect vacation. It was so easy to park and take the elevator right up to the unit. I loved not having to use a key! Duke's is great, the organic market is fabulous, you can walk to the grocery store. My kids were submerged in the pool or the ocean for 8-9 hours a day. The whales came so close to the beach, it was incredible. So much fun for families, I can't even tell you. A pool for every type of swimmer...even a few hot tubs that were for kids (not too hot). The beach right in front is a little steep with some coral/stones that roll up and down but just a few yards over and it's perfect...even for my 4 yr. old. Thank you so much for an incredible experience...we used your book on Maui A LOT! We had an absolutely amazing vacation and didn't want to leave...thinking about coming again next year ;)

Our stay as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) was just perfect in this unit. We walked in and the kids jaws dropped when they saw the beautiful view and the size of this unit and corner lanai. As we had pulled them out of school for a September trip, they spent many mornings on the lanai doing homework and it was not feeling like such a chore in this lovely environment! The size of the rooms were really spacious and we even gave up the true master suite to our kids because the 2nd master suite was so nice and roomy. The condo. was immaculate and had a closet full of great beach items that made our trips to the beach fun and comfy. We worked with a wonderful owner who was very warm and prompt in her communication. The kitchen had everything we needed and was great for many meals. The onsite restaurant is popular with many guests of Honua Kai and surrounding hotels. The pools were a great mix of fun and relaxation, we spent many trips down the waterslide and under the waterfalls. There seemed to be no restrictions of kids in the infiniti "adults-only" pool , maybe because it was low season. THANK YOU for a wonderful trip and the many memories, we are checking our calendars for next year! We would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

With my husband being an airline pilot, we have traveled extensively both in the US and overseas. This rental unit is by far one of the best I have ever stayed in. The property is new, very clean, and has been very well maintained. The owners have provided many extras to make your trip more enjoyable: snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach tote bags, games, local area books, a few DVD's, and high powered binoculars for whale watching from the lanai. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, dishes, cookware, blender, and other items you may need. Beds are very comfortable with extra pillows for those who want more. There were plenty of bath and beach towels as well as a washer and dryer in the unit. I HIGHLY recommend this property. It is centrally located near shopping, restaurants, world class golf courses, and other activities you may be interested in. On property, there are several pools, a restaurant, deli, large exercise room, and easy beach access. There is a supermarket within walking distance. Parking is in an underground parking garage with easy access to the elevator or pool area. The owners were incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions in a prompt and timely manner. They also provided recommendations for area restaurants and activities. You won’t be disappointed in choosing this property. I can’t wait to book my next stay here!

I just spent a week with a friend at this condo....it was a wonderful experience. The resort itself is exceedingly well designed and maintained. The water is a wonder for snorkelers. Our first day had about 30 dolphins just off shore and fish galore! The views from the terrace and the main living area are quite dramatic. I am OCD clean, and as particular as they come....upon arrival the condo was ABSOLUTELY spotless. The beds and linens are quite comfortable...great showers, sinks, floors and toilets. The finishes throughout the condo and building are exceptional. Everything is well stocked..including beach gear. I could walk to get the morning papers, either to a gourmet store on the property...or across the way in a large supermarket. I am not a "reviewer"..this is the first! This condo I'd rather keep a secret - but after staying in Wailea Elua and the Wailea Beach Villas...this is the clear choice for the beauty, convenience and fun. I had breakfast and lunch at Duke's many times - but equally enjoyed cooking in the great kitchen. All Bosch appliances is another plus.....they are beautifully wrought and designed. You will make a wise choice by taking this...just keep it nice for my next visit!!! They also have a combo lock on the door...it's fabulous to not worry about keys! The staff is very nice and helpful. I can hardly say enough about this.....so just go! You will be glad you did! It's worth the price and then some.

We just got back from our stay in this condo and it is truely an incredible property. The quality of everything was beyond our expectations. The view was better than any of the pics posted, we started every day on the lanai in the morning just soaking in the view and the cool air. The bedrooms and baths were top quality and the kitchen was awesome and fully equipped with just about anything you could need. We really enjoyed having Duke's so close and had breakfast there almost every day. The pools were great too and never overcrowded, plenty of chairs and cabanas to go around. Thanks for sharing your awesome property with us, we had a great vacation and plan to come back soon.

Our family had a wonderful stay in this spotless condo. As previously noted the large,L-shaped lanai has a breathtaking view that can be enjoyed 24/7. The beds are comfy, and the extra amenities were great. We used the snorkeling gear every day. The Honua Kai is a lovely resort and this condo is one of the very best units there. We hope we can return someday to experience another week in paradise.

First time staying in a condo and wasn't quite sure what to expect. Turned out it was beyond my expectations. The description does not give the property justice. The condo was beautiful and the view was amazing. The property was very clean and well maintained. The owner was more than gracious, always available to answer any questions. We had a wonderful time at this property. This condo is the best equiped condo we've ever stayed in. (and we've stayed in lot's of condo's and pool homes) Everything is new. Ocean view is much better than the photo's show. Great parking! Owner's very helpful and easy to deal with. Great to have Duke's right there. We hope to be back soon!
