On foot in just 5 minutes, you can reach Rialto and its famous bridge which can be reached along the Ruga Vecchia a wide street that provides the most popular and typical shops in the city. Impressive is going through San Toma in gondola, near the Grand Canal, which allows you to reach the magnificent St. Mark's Square in 5 minutes. For shopping lovers, within walking distance, there is XXII Marzo Street, better known as the street for famous brand names. Clean apartment in a quiet location

The apartment was clean and nicely furnished. It is in a quiet location away from the bustle of the tourist areas, but it is a short walk to the water taxi stop. The space adequate for the six people in our party. Everything was in working order with the exception of the TV (the cable/satellite connection didn't appear to be working) but this was not a major issue for us since we didn't go to Venice to watch TV. The air conditioning worked great for the master bedroom and the living room but did not cool the second and third bedrooms very well. All in all, it was a great place to stay for sightseeing in Venice and we would stay there again.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Excellent location in quiet part of town. Our apartment was very clean with modern decor. However on our arrival we found that the toilet seat and lid were missing from one bathroom, and the door of the other bathroom had a broken handle and could not be closed. The number we were to call for repairs turned out to be for voice mail only; after leaving messages for two days and complaining to the cleaning staff, the repairs were made. A few days later the sink connection to the drain pipe in one bathroom came loose so that water ran all over the floor. This was never fixed, nor were the nonfunctional TV and wifi, in spite of messages and texts to the voicemail number detailing the problems. The elevator functioned the one time we used it, but it was so temperamental that we used the stairs afterwards. The elevator and wifi were major reasons for choosing this apartment and it was disappointing and inconvenient not to have them. I would not recommend this property.
Owner response:I’m sorry to inform you that the the elevator, the wi-fi and TV was ok, and our stuff gave to mrs. Gotten the password for the internet connection three time. The guest got broken the bathroom and we don’t charged nothing and to thanks us this person got a bad reviews. Also because in 2010 I had reservations, only this apartment, for 326 nights, I have never received such reviews. Thank you very much madam

"My wife and I accompanied by two of our adult daughters stayed in Rialto 1 for 4 days. Rialto apartments are in a neighborhood not a touristy area and its location forces you to get to know how Venetians live on a day-to-day basis although the bright lights and crowds are only minutes away either by vaporetto or on foot: a great way to see and know Venice. The apartment is a recently renovated one, clean, well appointed with new appliances including a dishwasher, a great stove, but oddly no oven, very comfortable beds including a leather pull out in the living room that turns into a great bed. It is on the second floor a clever lift that worked really well. The bathroom was great and well equipped with a great shower and ventilated! It's a 7 minute walk from the San Toma vaporetto stop over three small bridges (do not bring heavy suitcases to Venice), not bad for Venice and 10 minutes away from the train station once you figure out how not to get lost. Two minutes from the Frari church and a lively shopping street behind it, the neighborhood is very quiet. There is a communal washing machine and dryer on the first floor but it was on the fritz while we were there. It's a great apartment but it would help if there were more written directions posted in the apartment. Guests from all over the world do not necessarily know how Italian appliances work. A map of the neighborhood would e a great help with advice on where to buy necessities nearby, the best route to the train station, how not to get lost getting back to the vaporetto stop The design is impressive.

(Rialto Project I): All in our apartment was Ok I am very happy to have met online. We were very good but small thing no function: the toaster, wireless and television. There was no knives for everyone. Very clean and very well received by Barbara. I hope repeat with us in the future. Agnès Olegario
