My husband and I rented this property for a long weekend to have some family time with our three daughters, their husbands and grandson. The house was PERFECT! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The guys enjoyed playing pool and watching some football. The kitchen was well supplied and we enjoyed sharing together during our meals at the extra large dining table! We only left the cabin once during our stay and that was for a short trip to Scaly Mountain to do a little snow tubing. We will be returning! The owners were very gracious and the whole process was so easy!

Relaxing family vacation

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at the cabin. The property was clean and very nicely maintained. The listing description and photos were accurate and the accommodation and amenities were perfect for our family vacation. The owners were very prompt, helpful and friendly in answering any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.

This cabin was wonderful - the kitchen was so well stocked it seemed like "home". The view is breathtaking, the beds are great and the cabin is clean as can be. We enjoyed eating an evening meal at Cupboard Cafe - good home cooked food for a reasonable price. We hope to visit again next fall as the leaves in this area were the best!

An Adventurous, Yet Relaxing Vacation in the Mountains.

I surprised my husband with a trip to GA for his 30th birthday. There were 8 of us in the cabin, we've all been friends for years and years and couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to reunite and catch up with each other. The cabin is gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice and the view is breathtaking. We started each morning with cups of coffee on the upper deck and ended each night with a nice long soak in the hot tub on the lower deck. We all love adventure, the town of Clayton and surrounding areas offer a ton of it! We whitewater rafted the Chattooga, went horseback riding at the Dillard house, hiked the Tallulah Gorge and fished surrounding areas, we somehow even found time to just relax and enjoy the view. My husband and I keep saying this was the best trip we have ever been on...aside from our honeymoon of course!

We had a girls getaway weekend ( six of us) and had a great time. The house was very clean. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there and all linens were furnished. There are five bedrooms and four baths. The loft bedroom has a double bed and bunk beds. There is a tv upstairs and one downstairs in the game room which has a ping pong table and a pool table. Relaxing in the hot tub, which is on the lower deck, was wonderful. We enjoyed going to the flea markets and other shops in the area, but the best thing was just relaxing on the deck enjoying the BEAUTIFUL view. The house is about half way up the mountain and a couple of us hiked to the top and back one day and the next went to the bottom and came back up. The native azaleas were beautiful and the landscaping around the house is very pretty. Looking forward to going back again and so are my friends.

We stayed in the cabin for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The cabin was spacious and inviting with plenty of parking and outside space. We felt like we were right at home from the moment we got there. The view from the deck was a great one to wake up to. And with pool, ping pong, hot tub, and a bunch of other games, there was never a dull moment in the house. We are definitely booking the cabin again next year.

This is the best place to go for family getaway. The cabin was awesome with much space , clean and beautiful view of the mountains! The sunrise view is splendid! You don't wanna miss it! You can stay in the house for the whole weekend because there is so much to do for family bonding. they have pool table , Pingpong table , games to do for the family and a Jacuzzi overlooking the mountains! After taking more than a thousand steps hike at Tallulah gorge park the Jacuzzi was a great relaxation for everyone ...great family bonding time!!! We highly recommend this cabin it is priceless!!!! We live in the Rabun Gap area and have used several area rentals when we have family and friends coming that exceed our family's capacity. This property is by far the best we have used or visited and we will only look elsewhere if it is not available! Lots of space, rooms, beds, BATHROOMS!, and the Rec Room and decks are great for hanging out with family and friends. Owner contacts were fast, courteous and helpful. Very prompt return of damage deposit.

What a great place to stay. It was even better than advertised. I would highly recommend staying here. The cabin had beautiful views. The accommodations were fantastic. We had a great time and would definitely rent this cabin again.

We spent Spring Break with 2 families. There were four children in our group ages 6, 7, 9 and 10 and we were very comfortable in your vacation home. There was plenty of room, the view was beautiful and the home was nicely decorated and well stocked. We enjoyed a day trip to Highlands, N.C., saw several lovely waterfalls, visited "Goats on the Roof" (which is a must see for families with kids), Tallulah Gorge, dinner at the Dillard House with a post dinner visit to the petting zoo on the Dillard property which was great fun ! I don't think the pictures on your website do your property justice and would suggest adding to them. Also, I would suggest a T.V. in the basement to accomodate families with children. All in all a wonderful time was enjoyed by both families and we would certainly recommend your beautiful home to those wishing to stay in the area !
