Rare Wailua riverfront executive home located in Kapa'a. There are only 8 homes on this river! Very centrally located for day trips to the North and East coast of the Island. The main house contains 2 bedrooms with bathrooms and all living spaces. Next to the covered garage there is a separate Ohana studio with a kitchenette, bathroom and double bed. This room has a separate entrance and it's own outside sitting area. This is a gated home with beautifully landscaped appointments. It has a beautiful Japanese garden with a fountain and a large spacious front yard with tropical gardens and fruit trees.
This home is located next to one of the most sacred places on the island, the birthplace of Hawaiian Ali'i. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from the lanai table and lounge chairs or from the table and chair on your own private dock. Water sports are readily available: kayaking, water skiing and wake boarding. We are located across the river from the Smith boat launch for the popular destination "Fern Grotto cruises", one of Kauai's signature attractions with a Hawaiian Village along the way and further up the river access to the trail to Secret Falls, one of Kauai's top 10 adventures.
The town of Kapaa has many popular restaurants. The Wailua Golf Course is 3 minutes away, rated the #1 Municipal Golf Course in the USA with mountain and ocean views. Opaeka'a Falls, one of the most beautiful waterfalls on Kauai,is just up the road and easily seen from an overlook off of Kuamo'o Road. The beach is just a short walk from the home and seen from the riverside of the home.
This was my tropical paradise home for 4 1/2 years. Loving care was put into it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
