We love the grounds of Ko Olina and also love that the island has lots to offer from shopping, sight seeing and easy access to the main land. My family and another family rented this property on Oahu. It was exactly as described - in a beautiful setting with a view of the grounds and beach, clean, well-appointed furnishings, and comfortable beds, which included a deep inflatable mattress that fit into a bedroom to nicely accommodate 4 adults and 4 children. The property grounds include beautiful pools, hot tubs, and areas to relax, while being tactfully gated for safety and privacy. We enjoyed the ease of preparing meals in the fully functional kitchen and enjoyed the easily accessible gas grills on the property grounds to make our evening meals. I've never eaten so well on a vacation for the cost of eating at home. Of course, there are options nearby for fantastic meals out. What we most appreciated about the location of this property is we could drive around the island and see the sites of Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, the Polynesian Cultural Center, surfing beaches, and more, and then return to our serene retreat to enjoy the privacy and comforts of home in our own paradise location. The beach just outside the gates of the grounds is beautiful and we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling at our leisure. There is a beautiful walkway that follows the beach for running or walking and connects one to the other properties in the area. We highly recommend this property for families wishing to enjoy the beauty and serenity of a stay on Oahu.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing.
