We loved our time in Barcelona, and what made it so enjoyable was staying in this apartment. Its location right on the Rambla couldn't be better. This street is where all of Barcelona gathers, and it is full of life both day and night. Right across the street is the largest covered market in Europe to provide you with shopping and eating delights, and if that doesn't suit you, a two level grocery store is just a few steps away. Just around the corner begins the Gothic Quarter with is maze of narrow streets, the Cathedral, shopping and restaurants. Two metro stops are very, very, close making it easy to get to anywhere, especially to the port is you are taking a cruise. The apartment itself is just as described and shown in the photos, no unpleasant surprises. We stayed on the fifth floor which I recommend highly because the next floor is the roof with amazing views of the city, ( And yes, there is an elevator!) There are tables and chairs so you can eat, drink and relax in your own private world (of course, sharing with other renters if they are there). There is also a complimentary washer, dryer and clothesline to do some laundry if necessary! As to making the reservation, Luis was extremely helpful and very personal to work with. We unfortunately did not get to meet him while we were there, but hopefully next time! We rate this experience a A+.

We spent a week here in October and the apartment was great. Staff very helpful, apartment clean and well equipped. Located right on Las Ramblas in the centre of all the action but not noisy as we faced a quiet back street. Rooftop patio is wonderful for relaxing with a vino in the sun or stargazing. Washer and dryer make travel life easy, supermarket nearby and you can easily walk to all the many attractions of beautiful Barcelona. Would stay here again.

We were two families staying at the apartment at the beginning of march 2011. This means 4 adults and one child. The owerall experience was good, although the place is a bit small for 5 people. It looks bigger in the pictures. But when you are visiting a city, you won't stay all day in a room, so for sleeping it was OK. The location is great, you are in the heart of the city, the metro station is in front of the apartment. Special thanks for beeing so flexible about the departure time. We had a very pleasent stay in Barcelona, and I am recommending the apartment for everyone who really wants to get the authentic Barcelona feeling. Csilla&friends from Brasov, Romania

My husband and I stayed at the apartment the first week of February. We travel to Europe once a year for two weeks at a time, this year we chose to return to Barcelona. Cynthia, the coordinator was extremely helpful and kind. The best feature of this apartment is the location, across the street from La Boqueria and in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Spain is the stomach of Europe and it was wonderful to be so close to the best restaurants, shopping and people watching. The large insulated windows kept out the noise of Las Ramblas when needed, but the energy coming from street was just as fun to hear. The apartment was clean and comfortable for the two of us. The beds are what you’d expect of Europe, thin and bit hard. But after a long day of eating and drinking, does it matter? We were lucky and stumbled upon beautiful weather while we were there. We enjoyed the terrace, it’s an insanely view! It would’ve been nice to have a few lounge or foldout reclining patio chairs to soak up that Vitamin D. We think that was the only thing missing on that beautiful terrace! The terms of our rental were met and we were given our full deposit back. The owner was flexible and worked with us because our party size changed a month before our trip. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to explore Barcelona on your own terms. We took no cabs the entire stay - the metro and everything we wanted was within walking distance. The airport bus was two blocks away from the apartment, 5.10 Euro beat the 45 Euro we paid for a cab last time. Clean, superior location, great value and owners were easy to work with! Thank you!

We stayed 3 nights last November and we enjoyed the apartment, the terrace and the hospitality of Luis. We can just recommend this place, it is ideal for visiting the city.
