The house is perched high above the Russian River, with gorgeous views of the water. Stairs lead down to a private beach which is accessible in summer, fall, and spring. The 1930s log cabin has been expanded and exquisitely updated with modern flair. Enjoy cooking in the gourmet kitchen or barbecuing on the 300 sq. ft. covered deck. At night, you can relax in front of the fireplace and watch a movie on the HDTV in the great room.
You're also close to the best of Sonoma county's wineries, restaurants, shopping, and numerous family activities. You can spend an afternoon exploring Westside Road, a famed 'wine trail' between Forestville and Healdsburg. Nick's Nest is everything that you want in a wine country getaway. It's secluded, peaceful, and even has the bonus of natural sound effects if you keep the window open so that you can hear the river. The facilities were beautifully updated and the kitchen was excellently outfitted with all sorts of spices and necessities for making meals.
