Our charming and well-maintained condo with its spectacular views is very popular with couples. Many return repeatedly to our cherished holiday home.
This is a standard Apollo apartment which takes four people but we restrict occupation to two to add comfort and reduce wear and tear and so can offer low rental rates.
Sleep in the king-size bed in a delightfully furnished bedroom with wall-mounted flat sceen TV. Relax on cushioned recliners on our private double size beachfront balcony with its sunset viewing chairs, dining table and tilting umbrella. In the tiled and mirrored living area, enjoy a recently refurbished, small but well-equipped and screened kitchen (with new appliances and granite worktop) quality china, queen sofa bed and rocking armchairs, numerous books, iPod speaker, 46" LED TV with HD cable/blu-ray, and DVD player + DVDs.
The apartment has good linens and Ralph Lauren towels. There is an answering machine and free broadband connection (Wi-Fi & Ethernet).
The well-kept complex has air-conditioning, lifts, laundry facilities, a swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts, security and covered parking. A local rental company takes care of you throughout your stay.Free exit clean.
The beach is fairly firm for walking, consisting of tiny fragments of shell. Shelling and beach walking are popular pastimes. A wide variety of sports is close at hand.
Marco Beach:
Marco Beach is a place to fall in love with. From the condo you look out on to a fabulous three and a half mile beach with access via a boardwalk over protected seagrass. There are pelicans and seabirds flying around, dolphins make their lazy way across the bay and in season turtles come ashore in the moonlight to lay their eggs, The sunsets are spectacular as the building faces West and the condo balcony offers sunset viewing chairs.
Marco Island:
The island is about 6 miles by 4 miles, accessed by two bridges. It is relaxed and charming with plenty of amenities (supermarkets, restaurants, shops, urgent care center, medical facilities etc). It is sufficiently far south to offer a wonderful climate and year-round sunshine. It is about 20 minutes from Naples which is a charming, sophisticated and affluent town, with shopping malls, hospitals etc. The Everglades are very close to the island and can be explored easily as can a number of nature reserves. Day trips to Key West are also possible. There are numerous golf courses within easy driving distance of the Apollo and the whole area is a golfer's paradise. Fishermen and those who enjoy boating love the island.
The Apollo:
We have owned our condominium from the time it was built and have given service to the condominium residents' Board. It is a well-kept building with a friendly atmosphere. Security is given high priority and there is a rolling program of maintenance which keeps standards up. There is a manager's office on site. There is also a privately owned restaurant in the complex. The location is spectacular and there is no road between the building and the beach, just protected sea grass with a board walk out to the beach.

We fell in love with Marco Island on our first visit and immediately placed a deposit on an Apollo apartment. We have never wavered in our love for Marco and the Apollo. We are a British married couple and love to escape to the "Paradise Island" that is Marco. Days stretch out to a proper length instead of flying past and the island rhythm of life is soothing.

I would recommend Cocomos and DaVinci's for dinner. Snook Inn had great music... Our neighbors were very friendly. We will always remember this trip.

My husband and I surprised our son and his new wife with a honeymoon trip. Trying to stay within budget and finding that right beautiful place online, this was it. When they arrived, they were in ah of their condo. They said, the place was as beautiful as we saw it on the internet. They spent every evening watching a beautiful sunset on their large private patio. This place is a gem. Not only are you right on the beach, but all the accomodations were perfect, especially having the grill in the same building. My son, Ronnie and his wife, Amanda, are hoping to go back for their first year anniversary. Thank you Apollo for taking great care of our angels. They have beautiful memories of your beautiful place.

Unsolicited E-mail sent to owner after vacation. We just wanted to let you know how perfect our week in your lovely condo was! The weather cooperated beautifully although there was the one very windy blustery afternoon and evening but that was at the end of the week and we actually enjoyed the change immensely. The sound of the surf and palm leaves were very enjoyable. I am going to see if I can find a CD along that line to fall asleep with. (Then refers to problem with new shower screen which owner is addressing and also some personal help from owner with departure arrangements.) Your condo was so well appointed that we felt special in every way. Our every need was taken care of. Your notes were appreciated as everything was well labeled and explained. You are such a delight. We look forward to another trip in the future.

My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon at Apollo 209 and it was the best week of both of our lives. First of all, Marco Island is the most beautiful place I have ever been in my life. Second, this condo is wonderful, cozy and the view is impeccably amazing. This condo was better than we could've imagined. Dealing with Mrs. Greggains was a wonderful experience. If anyone is having any hesitation about renting this unit, stop hesitating and book now. You will not be sorry. We look forward to staying here next year for our first anniversary.
