This house exceded our expectations for the month stay in that it was so very CLEAN and well located to all the things we wanted to do while we were in Asheville for a month. We were able to have lots of family and friends to visit during the month. The laundry room was spacious enough to hold the provided crib during our grand daughter's visit. We had a couple of issues when we first arrived but the owner was very receptive to have them handled in a timely matter. There is no mailbox so we had to contact the post office to hold our mail which was forwarded. I loved the fact that there was such a good place to go walking in the woods just out the front door. We enjoyed the deck in the woods for breakfast and dinner. When it had rained we sat on the front porch to read. The neighbors were all great and so friendly.

How seldom do our expectations not only get met but exceeded---this house did just that!!! We were disappointed in nothing-the house was lovely, immaculately clean, roomy, beautifully decorated and comfortable!!! We arrived for our daughters wedding and found the house had everything we could possibly need or even want. The location was excellent, easily accessible with an easy drive to the airport or to downtown. Best of all--it was all so easy. From the first contact with Teri until the final thank you!! Very professional but friendly and very eager to assure that our visit was a very happy memory!! Thank you so much and "Yes, we would love to come again!!!"

We stayed in this comfortable, CLEAN, home for most of February, 2011 and we were very pleased. The home was exactly as represented and the owners were very agreeable and attentive. The home is open, airy and roomy and the location to Asheville and shopping is quite good. This rental is a good value!

Dear Teri and David- Finding your home on the "Home Away" site was only the beginning of one of the best weeks of our lives. We wanted to rent a house that would be convenient to the Crest Center where our youngest son and his bridge married on October 23. However, what we got was truely a home-so full of warmth and comfort in every way! It is simply terrific! Teri I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to bother you with so many emails and telephone calls! Your response was always quick and friendly. I truely felt you wanted our special week to be just that. Kris, the handy guy, is terrific-what a pleasure to meet him! And also to meet Lynne, the handy gal. Our dinner party following the wedding rehearsal was a roaring success. All the guests roared about how great your home is (and everyone grabbed a brochure!) (I almost didn't want them to since I'd like to move here permanently- haha!) =D We definately want to be your guests again. And we definately want to come by the farm on our way to Richmond to see how you do it all (end especially to say thanks in person) Take care! Karen +Richard Haltom: Cary NC

Dear Teri and Dave, A million thanks for sharing this beautiful home away from home with my family and I. We couldnt have picked a more perfect place than this! This house is so fully equipped with everything you could seriously need! Not to mention how CLEAN it is as well. We were amazed how it came with easy to install baby gear which is a musst when you have young children around. Such a comfortable and cozy ambiance. This whole property and it;s surroundings. We got to meet the friendly neighborhood eatery wgucg my neice enjoyed. Your location is awesome because it is so close and convenient to all the key places downtown, and we even got to go apple picking! Something us city folks really get to do on rare occasions! We got such great sleep here, waking up every morning to the birds chirping. We will really miss this place and definately plan on coming back again in the future. This place and folks like you are such a good find. Thanks again from us city folks from the big apple! New York City I <3 NY -The dela Fuente Family- p.s. Just want to suggest for future guests- Good eats! For BBQ Luellas BBQ. For Downtown A MUST MAYFELS =)

We enjoyed a month in this lovely home. It is in a wonderful location - near the interstate, farmer's mkt, Biltmore area and a quick drive to down town area. The owners were very easy to work with and went over and beyond to accomodate us. The home is very new, well maintained with a well furnished kitchen. Asheville is a very interesting town with many wonderful restaurants, lots of arts and beautiful mtns to explore. I would highly recommend the home and hope to go back for another visit.

We enjoyed a month in this spacious, new home. Not only is it lovely, but it is in a great location - convenient to the Interstate, Farmer's Mkt, Biltmore and a quick trip to downtown. The owners were very easy to work with - going over and beyond to accomodate us and our needs. The pictures of the home do not do it justice - it is even lovelier. We enjoyed exploring the Asheville which is full of great restaurants and interesting people. I would highly recommend the house and its owners! We hope to enjoy it again in the future.

We chose Asheville as our summer vacation spot so that extended family would be able to vacation with us. Teri and Dave's house was the perfect spot! The house is gorgeous, the beds slept amazing (all of us commented on how comfortable they were), and it had all of the conveniences of home. It was centrally located to all attractions, and major routes are within minutes. Teri was an absolute pleasure to communicate with, I really can't say enough about our experience. If you are looking for a destination spot that has plenty to do for all ages and a place to stay that reminds you of home, this is it.

Our group of five women spent one week at this property and found it delightful. The photos can't adequately show how spacious and comfortable the house is. We had plenty of room for individual quiet time and group gatherings. The kitchen flows well with the rest of the house. Everything was clean and well maintained with many nice touches such as flashlights and nightlights. The beds were awesome. The location is close to downtown and has very easy highway access. A local grocery store is nearby - we left a discount/loyalty card attached to the key. The Farmers Market was also close by. The owners and their local agent responded quickly to a minor problem and both shared a few local spots we never would have found on our own. Plenty of tourism advice was gathered for us to read and computer access was a bonus. Enjoy!

The photos do not do the house justice. It is beautiful inside and out. The master bathroom is amazing! I was only there for the weekend and took 3 showers and bath just because it is so luxurious!Everything is updated and top of the line. We loved sitting on the back porch that is on the second floor high off the ground and surrounded by tall trees...very peaceful and you feel so secluded. The neighborhood is very quiet and nice, the neighborhood handyman brought us cookies, and there was a very friendly neighborhood cat that adopted us while we were there...we felt right at home!

What a wonderful home to spend a holiday with family. Great open layout in kitchen/living room. Home is beautiful from the tiles in bathrooms to the bedding. Very clean and well maintained. Very thoughtfully prepared for out of town visitors. Home owners were very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying at this rental.
