  Best month I have spent in a ski resort. I stayed in January 2011. The condo is very clean and has everything you need for a fantastic holiday. So big for a one bedroom its crazy. The den bunk beds are great for kids the views of the mountain are spectacular. Oh did I mention its so close to everything you can walk to the IGA in your PJ's. I did :)

  We (2 adults and 12 year old) stayed for a week over Christmas. We could see the peak to peak gondola from the living room and a nice view of the village. The apartment was about 500 sf but it was a very usable area with a very small bedroom with bunkbeds, a good sized master BR, a reasonable living-dining area, two bathrooms, and a small but efficient kitchen. It is a 10 minute walk thru the village to the lifts but the supermarket and liquor store is a 30 second stroll and there are shops and restaurants all around you. The area is fairly quiet for Whistler but you will hear the snowplows in the early morning as the windows are not very soundproof. I suggested the owner buy a kettle and teapot but otherwise the kitchen is fairly well equipped. The knives need sharpening but that always is the case in rentals, it seems. For convenience, we stored our skis at the storage lockers under the Longhorn. It makes the walk home after skiing a lot more pleasant. Whistler-Blackcomb is a HUGE ski area and I was pretty tired by the end of the day. For the price, I do not think you can get a better deal in Whistler Village. Especially as it can sleep 6 people if you use the pull out couch, although that might be a bit crowded for my liking. The owner, Omar, is a respectable, honest fellow and I would happily recommend this rental to anyone. This is not 4 star luxury but it is clean and well worth the rent being asked.

  We had great time in Whistler. The unit was close in to everything but still quiet enough to be a relaxing stay. The Gondolas, restaurants, and stores are all within easy walking distance to the codo. We'd definitely stay there again
