Yes, this was my second time at Game Tracker Lodge and it was even better than the first. This time we decided to share with our family and had a different group each week for 3 weeks (of course I had to stay all 3 weeks). They were all amazed at the lodge as well as the view. The changes/upgrades to the lower level and new furniture/appliances made our trip even better. The basement area is great with the TV, super air hockey table and additional bedding but the living room furniture really opened that space up. You wouldn’t think it would make that much difference but it is much more relaxing now. Also loved the new/larger frig. as well as the new oven. Just as before I will say, the pictures don’t do it justice. Staying right on the side of the mountain and sitting on the deck watching the snow storm roll in over the distant mountain range is just indescribable. We had several skiers/tubers on this trip and being 3 minutes from the lifts made life easy for me. Dana is the absolute best person to work with, any questions were responded to very fast. Again she walked us through each step so there would be no problems. We were completely prepared when we arrived thanks to her help. Thank you again Dana, from me and my family, for sharing you wonderful house with us. My granddaughter (now 5) calls this her mountain house and we hope to spend many more ski trips at her mountain house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family really appreciated Game Tracker Lodge as the perfect place to celebrate Christmas! It was a beautiful setting wiith amazing views and the elk, deer and turkeys made the views even more enjoyable! The lodge was fully equipped for all our needs. We loved the location and how easy it was to hit the slopes each morning! Angelfire has something for all levels of skiiers and our son loved snowboarding lessons too. We had an amazing stay at Game Tracker Lodge! What a great way to start out the new year! The house was warm and cozy despite the negative temperatures! We comfortably slept and entertained our group of 9. We have stayed in two other homes at Angel Fire (one was even ski-in/ski-out) and a number of condos, but Game Tracker Lodge tops them all! Great location- easy to access and still secluded! Plus all the amenities needed to make it a great stay! The house was even better than the photos and description! We skied all day and spent evenings relaxing and cooking at the house! Thank you, Dana for everything! We'll definately rent again!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you, we look forward to having you back!

We had a blast staying at the Game Tracker Lodge. The home's size was perfect for my family of four plus my dad... and that was without the use of the basement space! The kids loved the loft with the bunk beds and futon, my dad was very comfortable in one of the two kitchen-level bedrooms, and my wife and I were very comfortable in the upstairs master. The jacuzzi tub was a hit! The kitchen was well-stocked, and the entire home was comfortably furnished and decorated. The deck overlooking the base of the mountain and across the highway to part of the golf course was beautiful. We spent a lot of time here on the deck. The house was within easy access to a ton of summertime activities... riding the chairlift right there in AF, a quick run to the market, hiking nearby trails, geocaching, etc. And it also served as a great home-base for longer day-trips to Red River, Taos, Questa, and destinations in between. We rented a jeep out of Red River, lunched and shopped in Taos, checked out the nearby Pueblo and gorge bridge, and a lot of other stuff. Dana was great throughout the whole process. Most impressive was how she handled a missing grill... I emailed her mid-stay to let her know that the charcoal grill was apparently missing. She quickly responded with info about how to access their personal propane grill... an excellent and gracious solution to a short-lived dilemma. Thanks Dana for a great stay and renting process! Game Tracker Lodge is highly recommended. Hope to be back during the ski season!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and new found love of this area. My family tried the geocaching as well and we loved it! There are numerous sites both easy and advanced right here out our back door. I'm glad you got us onto that fun!! Please visit again in the future!!

This home was perfect for our family Spring Break trip. The pictures and description were spot on. Very clean, nice and tastefully decorated. Helpful local information from the owners prior to our trip. It was quite warm during our visit but we could resist a fire in the fireplace every night. Can't say enough about this great property. Gorgeous view, easy access and close to the lifts. Thank you Tracker Lodge, we will be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed your visit! You must try the summertime, it is amazing and we will offer you a special price as a returning guest! A cool and relaxing escape from Oklahoma heat!

THis property is out of this world! It has absolutely everything you need. Very well maintained, beautifully decorated and the view is unbelievable!!! Very short drive (Maybe 1 mile) to ski resort and town. The basement area had everything to entertain my kids. Great for gaming, air hockey, etc. We will definitely come back to this property again. I bet the summer is even better than the winter! The owners were very easy to deal with and I would highly recomend this property to anyone. In fact I have told all my friends about it! Thanks again for the awesome memories Jeff and Dana!!!!!!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We rented this home for the Thanksgiving holidays and it was just wonderful!! The house was clean, nicely decorated and had a beautiful view of the mountains...just as described in the ad!! We spent 4 days and had a blast exploring, hiking, fishing and shopping in near-by Taos and Red River. The beds were sooo comfy, the flat panel TV was an added bonus and all dishes and kitchen appliances were provided. Directions to the house were a bit confusing, but the owners directed us and we made it in. Overall, it was a very relaxing and most enjoyable experience and we will definatley go back next year!! Thanks to the Thrashers for renting us a great place for Thanksgiving...we will always treasure our time there!! Highly recommended for a great vacation.Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thank you! We are so glad you enjoyed our home and Angelfire as much as we do. We would love to have you back and will offer a free night to returning guests!!

I was some what leery because there were no reviews for this property and it was our first time to rent a house but let me say, this place is fabulous. The photos do not tell the whole story, it is one of those “you have to see it to believe it“ places. The view is one of the best on the mountain and we were so close to the lifts it was like staying at the resort. Dana must be a gourmet chef because the kitchen has it all. The grandkids loved everything from the moment they walked through the door and they are sometimes our toughest critics. The 3 year old even cried when we left, she wanted to stay (first time that’s happened). This house lives so much larger than it is because of the great design, very open. We had 6 there, 4 adults and 2 children, and it would have been very comfortable many more. Best Spring-Break we have had. They way undersold their house with the description and pictures, so if your like me looking for what others think to make your decision I can say you won’t go wrong staying here. Also, Dana was great to work with. Since this was our first house to rent we were sometimes lost and she walked us through each step. I don’t know that I will ever stay in a hotel again. PS: Dana, if you read these reviews, thank you very much. You have a great house and we had a best time.
