If you just want to enjoy a day visiting the beach, Sea Trail Plantation is just located 1 mile from Sunset Beach. Just minutes down the road in North Myrtle Beach you can enjoy some fine dining and shopping at Barefoot Landing. Two miles to Calabash and the Quaint Fishing Village, there are numerous shops and some great seafood restaurants.
Also, for the kids, there are hundreds of miniature golf courses and arcades along the coast. This is an area for the whole family to have a great time, but if you are just bringing the friends for a golf trip, you will not be disappointed.
