This 1900 square foot house with wrap-around front porch has an open floor plan and ceiling fans in all rooms.
There are three bedrooms, each with its own full bath. Two master suites; downstairs master has queen bed, garden jacuzzi tub, and walk-in shower. Huge upstairs master suite has king bed and bath/shower combination. Each has own sitting area, TV, VCR, and private deck with woodland view. Third bedroom has two twin beds.
Large great room has vaulted, cedar-beamed ceiling and stone fireplace. Great room has a queen sleep sofa. Wonderful, fully-equipped kitchen has breakfast bar and table that can accommodate ten people comfortably.

This was a very cozy place to stay, as the headline says. Our group included my two daughters, their husbands, and myself, and we enjoyed our stay so very much. Although we were gone hiking most of the time, we really looked forward to returning here every night. The photos accurately depict the interior of the house, and the house itself was very clean and well maintained. If we come back to this area again which I hope to do, we would really like to stay here again. My thanks to the owner who never seemed to tire of my calls and e-mail questions. This area is full of waterfalls and hikes (Whiteside Mt. being one hike we enjoyed). We saw many waterfalls (Hooker Falls,Triple Falls, High Falls, Rainbow Falls Turtle Back Falls, Whitewater Falls,Dry Falls, just to name a few) but not close to all of them, which is why we want to return and Sapphire put us in the center of it all. Going through Highlands looked like a very nice place to stop and visit,eat and shop, but very, very busy this time of year. We had a great time and staying here enhanced our stay. Like I said I would gladly stay here again and hope to do so.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

After vacationing in this area for so many years, we bought a lot and built our house in 2003. We have enjoyed spending time here during any season. There is always something to do, new roads to travel, waterfalls to discover. It's such a beautiful area!
