We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this lovely Delray Beach cottage in September. We enjoyed our walks in this very attractive area including on the near-by public beach. There is a well-furnished large back porch that provides a close-up view of the canal in the back yard. Downtown Delray Beach has wonderful shops and restaurants and is only a short drive (about 5 minutes) away. A shopping center with a full service grocery (Publix) is less than that. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this cottage as a perfect vacation spot. The caretaker is always available by phone and is very helpful.
Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

We stayed here April 2010. It was great!! The owner was so nice and helpful. The house was perfect. We are a family of 5 and it was great for the kids to be outside with the fishing poles that were in the house. The house was very clean. I would definitely recommend this house! Location was great, just a short walk to the beach.

We stayed in this home January 2011. It is furnished with beautiful furniture. Everything you need cooking utensils, lawn furniture, bikes. A short walk to ocean. Intercoastal was lovely and we saw manatees and my son fished. Lots of linens, blankets. We had a wonderful vacation. Near shopping in Delray. Thank you so much.

Walk to the Beach, Bike to Town

House is walking distance to the public beach (about 3 blocks) or you can ride bikes into the town of Delray Beach where there are lots of shops and restaurants and an even larger public beach. The town is very bike friendly and the roads are flat. The house itself is very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The screen porch overlooking the canal is a great place to relax. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals during your stay. The grocery store is a 5 minute drive away - along with many other stores and restaurants. Plenty of sheets and towels provided.
Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
