We had a lovely vacation here in February 2012, when there was not much snow. The view of Donner Lake in the morning was lovely, the children enjoyed skittering stones across its frozen surface while it steamed gently in the early morning sun. By evening it was all melted, but froze again in time to create another wonderland next morning. The cabin is very well maintained, the kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, and 7 people did not feel like a squeeze at all. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
