It's always 'Millertime' at our newly remodeled home on beautiful Captiva Island situated on a secluded lot with your own private pool. Miles of white sand beaches on the Gulf are just a two minute walk away. This home is also located in the heart of Captiva's charming Village area with its quaint shops, galleries and fine dining. This is truly a place to come and get away from it all. Bring your laptop...we have wireless high speed DSL Internet Access.
The interior has been upgraded with all new carpet, tile, paint and furniture that gives the home a decidedly 'island' look.
The living room with cathedral ceiling has a sleeper sofa and new entertainment center with 36' cable TV, VCR/DVD and stereo. Two sets of double sliding glass doors lead to a large screened lanai adjacent to the pool. The lanai has plenty of seating and a set of table and chairs for additional dining space. The heated pool is in a large screen area and is very private with tropical vegetation surrounding it. Ipod docking station is provided.
The large master bed with king size bed is equipped with cable TV/VCR, a private bath and sliding doors that lead to a patio area.
The second bedroom has a queen size bed, cable TV/VCR and sliding glass doors overlooking the pool.
The third bedroom has two twin beds, plenty of closet space and cable TV/VCR.
A modern, fully equipped kitchen and dining area is open to the living room and has everything needed to prepare snacks to complete meals, including refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. A gas grill located on the porch deck is available for grilling steaks or your own catch of fish from the Gulf.
Your vacation home and pool area are surrounded by colorful tropical Palm trees, flowering shrubs and even a Key Lime tree. The Gulf beach with some of the best shelling in the world and spectacular sunsets is a two minute walk to the West.
A short walk to the East will bring you to a marina on the bay side of the island where you can rent a boat or just watch the manatees lounging around the docks.
Boat and jet ski rentals are available at the beach as is parasailing. Two 18 hole golf courses, The Dunes and Beachview are 20 minutes away on Sanibel Island. The Captiva Library is right next door and has books, CDs, videos and computers available to guests.
What we like about Captiva is what you wont find there, like high rise condos/hotels, fast-food restaurants and busy shopping centers. It's just an unspoiled tropical island where you can relax and get away from it all.

We have now owned and managed our vacation rental home on Captiva Island for over seven years. We operate Millertime Villa as a business and our main focus is providing a comfortable, clean home with lots of amenities so that our guests will have a memorable, relaxing Captiva Island vacation. Many of our guests return year after year. We live in SW Iowa and personally inspect (and enjoy!) our home at least four times a year.

This property was perfect for our family holiday and was just as advertised on the Owners website.Everything very clean and well maintained . Fabulous location - a 2 minute walk to the beach , where we spotted Dolphins; Pelicans; Herons and Osprey daily . A 4minute walk in the other direction led to the wharf with good fishing trips and plenty of Manatee alsovery close to to the charming Chapel by the sea where we attended a magical Carol service . Local shops and restaurants a few minutes walk away . Dan the owner was extremely helpful prior to our arrival and accomodated all of the requests that we made. The layout of the house was great and ideal for our 4year old grandson who has physical disabilities - many thanks to Dan for arranging the pool to be so warm - Jack loved it ! .Would definitely recommend the property to a friend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, beach house. The home is close to everything and very, very comfortable. The pool is clean and heated and was a pleasure to relax in. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, which is one of the prettiest anywhere. We have always stayed in hotels, and this was our first experience staying in a home. --We will definitely be back!

Dear Dan and Sue, We all had the best time ever at Millertime Villa! We all agreed it was the best house we ever stayed in! Thank you for having such a wonderful house and keeping it so well equipped with games, pots and pans, movies, etc etc etc. We really loved being able to walk everywhere, and we loved the pool. My family and I have made a tript to Sanibel/Captiva almost an anuual event. The Miller Time home provided us with the best "home base" that we have had yet. It is a terrific home in a super location. It's just a short walk to the beach, to the marina, to the area restaurants and shops. The pool is wonderful and the home is very spacious. We will be back again.

"This home is so wonderful we just got back from a week and wished we had booked two! The pictures do not do it justice. The location is absolutely perfect, beach was a minute away and the Mucky Duck a short walk (maybe 5 minutes tops) on the beach, same to downtown. We have two toddlers and the home was set up really great for them and pool has a very secure gate that allowed us to let them play on the lanai without us worring they would get into the pool area! The house itself is beautifully decorated and the layout is so spacious it really lends itself to relaxing dinners or cocktails with a few friends - with plenty of space for the kids to keep them occupied but within earshot. We very highly recommend "Millertime" for a great vacation spot! The Power Family"
