Mountain View is a 5 bedroom, 4 bath luxury vacation home nestled in the Orchard, a peaceful residential neighborhood and exclusive gated community. Mountain View derives its name from the views of the majestic Santa Rosa mountains which can be seen from practically every room as well as from the large outdoor back patio, heated swimming pool and full featured spa. As you arrive at Mountain View, inspirations by the lush landscaping, pool spillways and picturesque setting move you.
Mountain View sleeps 11-13 guests (4 premium Sterns and Foster California Kings, 2 Euro top twin XL’s, 1 daybed for a child or additional guest, 1 queen sofa sleeper). In addition, there are two infant play yards.
Within, a residence of contemporary décor with a hint of playfulness and beautifully appointed luxuries await. Walk through the passageways observing various artwork prior to entering the Master Suite. The exquisitely decorated Master Suite with its Safari motif includes a California King bed, an avant-garde daybed doubling as a toddler bed, a 42” HDTV with DVD player, large walk-in closet along with a handsome bathroom containing dual sinks, large soaking tub and travertine tiled shower with ample sit down bench. For those that prefer natural scenery when bathing, the private, yet liberating top-down blinds in the Master Suite bathroom provide for an alfresco experience with privacy. Dry yourself by engulfing in the plush Turkish cotton towels.
Others find respite in the luxurious surroundings of the casita and three guest bedrooms. The attached casita affords additional privacy as it a separate attached living space in Mountain View, however, with all the comforts of the main home. With 32” HDTV’s in each guest bedroom, one can choose to be apprised of the latest sports news, financial markets as well as current events. The hotel inspired bathrooms with curved shower curtain rods allow a more spacious experience.
Imagine after awakening from a restful sleep to your favorite morning tune on the iPod alarm clock (located in each guestroom) and drawing the shades to view tall date palm trees overlooking the patio, extra large private swimming pool (with natural salt system) and spa. Walk directly from the master bedroom or kitchen to the patio or pool and bask in the sun drenched landscape. Take a dip, swim laps, idle on the pool floats or relax in the tanning shelf before breakfast or sip your favorite beverage in the warm water at the sit-down table or under one of the three waterfall spill ways – perhaps even add a fresh lime from one of the citrus trees to complement your choice. Many adventures await in Coachella Valley, and this home is minutes away from the heart of La Quinta and various attractions in Palm Springs. Prior to embarking upon your day’s journey, begin with brunch in the fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel Jenn-Air appliances, fine appointments and eat-in kitchenette. Granite counter-tops and extensive island make for an ideal setting to plan out your day. As you indulge in your favorite beverage, you notice the Sun traversing through the sky through the plantation blinds reminiscent of Paul Gaugin’s Tahitian Oceanside landscapes.
The elegant Euro Style kitchen suite with a 5 burner gas cook-top, double convection oven, and refrigerator with water/ice dispenser provides a wonderful environment to concoct your culinary creations. For a more formal dining experience, you can entertain in the formal dining room which accommodates 8-10 adults.
Before you retire for the evening, unwind on the queen sofa sleeper or the en vogue leather chairs in the living room watching the random flickers of flames in Mountain View’s gas burning fireplace. Or unravel to a motion picture on the Blu-ray DVD player from our movie library, or streaming Netflix via the Wii console on the 50” HDTV. A Nintendo Wii entertainment system and assortment of board games allows you to create lasting memories as you jokingly reprimand your losing opponents! For the more information famished vacationer, high speed wireless Internet service, Cable TV HD broadcasts, unlimited international calling to 60 countries as well as multiple telephone handsets keep you completely connected.
In addition, each room contains ample lighting with variably controlled light sources from modernistic lamps and ceiling fixtures. Although well air-conditioned, Mountain View contains ceiling fans in the Master Suite, all guest bedrooms, living room and patio. Also, Mountain View is completely equipped with a laundry room containing a washer & dryer as well as ironing board & iron. Furthermore, ample parking is available within the two-car garage and extended driveway – a wonderful attribute when expecting guests or celebrating with friends.

Once upon a time....1 Belgian, 1 Russian, 1 Australian, 1 Canadian, 1 Spaniard, 1 Brit, 1 New Yorker, 1 Montanan, 3 Los Angelenos, 1 San Franciscan came to Indio California for Coachella Music Fest, played in the pool, and had the time of their lives. Our American Vacation - We came to celebrate my two sons' birthdays here and to have fun with our friends. The moment we entered the house, everyone had this feeling that we were going to have an outstanding vacation. In fact, the vacation did turn out to be really outstanding. Our party consisted of three families with kids, and every single person found this house very warm and full of positive energy. The pool was amazingly convenient for all age groups. We just stayed at this property from 6/25 - 6/27/10. This was the 1st time I've used VRBO and it was very convenient. There were 15 of us - 10 adults and 5 kids from 5 years old to 12 years old. The house was beautiful. All the photos on VRBO were very accurate and didn't do the house justice. The kitchen had top of the line Jenn-Air appliances, the rooms were all clean and beautifully maintained, the master was HUGE with a huge walk in closet, they had a WII gaming console in the main room and the casita was a nice plus. The AC worked perfectly ( the day we got there it was 110), the pool was just the right temp and the jacuzzi was great at night. There were plenty of towels and linens. All we had to bring was food to eat. They supplied everything else. Flat screen tv's in every room was a big plus and everyone agreed that it was definitely worth every cent we paid. I would toally recommend this property to anyone thinking of renting it. The owner and rental agency were very accomodating. We booked it through Palm Springs Rental Agency. They made it very easy to check in and out. I would definitely recommend using them, as well.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We stayed for over a month at the Mountain View property and we loved it. The house is very well decorated inside but at the same time very comfortable. We spent hours each day in the backyard playing in the pool and using the jacuzzi. The location is great and we explored some of the nearby restaurants and went to the BNP tennis tournament which was only 10 minutes away.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Mountain View was a blank canvas when purchased in late 2007, and required much artistic direction. Mountain View, presently houses a spacious pool and spa, handsomely appointed furnishings, multi-faceted and themed decor as well as many modern amenities to provide guests of all ages, extreme enjoyment, comfort, entertainment and tranquility.
The efforts to integrate nature and modernity have resulted in rave reviews from the numerous guests over the past five years.
The commitment that I continue to put forth to create evergreen memories, has been consistently commented upon by guests.
