My girlfriends and I just stayed here on March 23-25, 2012. The glowing reviews you will read are entirely accurate and this cabin was exactly as expected and pictured. We were very very happy with our choice! The owner was easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly. We arrived to a clean cabin ready for our weekend. Every room was decorated in style, the kitchen was fully stocked and bathrooms clean. The beds were wonderful! Super cozy and comfortable and everyone said they slept well. We spent our time in Murphys wine tasting, eating and shopping. If we had more time we would definitely hang out at the cabin. Very cozy. This cabin is highly recommended and we will book again for sure. Thanks!!

Never stayed in a nicer rental! Gorgeous and elegant, yet comfortable! Fun for kids! Fun for Adults! Well equipped with video games, air hockey, etc. for kids -- downstairs! Perfect! Adult Master on THIRD Floor! PEACE! :) Great location! Nice neighbors! Veena was an absolute pleasure to work with. We will choose our vacation dates based on availability of this cabin for all future trips! Thank you for the much needed break!

My family and I haved rented many cabins from VRBO. This cabin is beautiful! There is enough room for adults and kids. The game room downstairs is great for kids so many things to do:) The beds are comfortable. We will defiantly rent this cabin again. Its a home away from home!

We have rented many cabins, homes and villas both in the Sierras and other areas. NONE can compare to this one! The location is fantastic. The cabin itself is amazing. The furnishings are extremely nice. And the owner is one of the nicest people we have ever rented from! If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay while in the Arnold area, look no further. This is our second time renting this cabin and we will certainly be back again soon!

summertime cabin rental

When reading the reviews we noticed that almost all were for winter rentals. We rented for a week starting August 13, 2011 and found the cabin to be every bit as cozy and elegant in the summer. The pictures are exactly what you get and everything works and is first class.There are a lot of things to do at the cabin for people of all ages. Our family ranged from 9 years to mid seventies and no one was bored. There are many summer activities Wine tasting and shopping in Murphys,gold panning, Columbia's museums, cave exploration,fishing at any number of lakes, swimming, an excellent little golf course 20 minutes away--short but tight and a test for most skill levels. Veena and her family are great to work with.In conclusion, lots of good stuff available at a reasonable rate. We will come again..

A winter wonderland!!!

A winter wonderland !!! My family and I had a wonderful time!!! The cabin was clean, the decor was beautiful, the kitchen had everything you will find in your own and more. My 5 year old son had a blast in the game room down stairs, all the kids loved it. The adults were relaxing upstairs and the kids were playing down stairs they never got bored!! The owner gave us all the information we need it and she was very helpful answering all of our questions. If you are looking for a beautiful quiet relaxing place this is it... We were looking for a cabin like place close to bear valley somewhere were we can relax after skiing, we wanted to feel like we were in touch with nature that is why we chose a cabin instead of a hotel. This cabin has all the anemeties of our house...We loved this cabin beautiful cabin....

We went with 2 couples and 5 kids and it was very roomy and comfortable! The game room is awesome, we never saw the kids the whole time!

Fun Couples Weekend

We spent a weekend with 2 other couples celebrating a retirement and totally enjoyed our stay. This cabin is perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the company of others. It is very well stocked and the furnishings are quite comfortable. It is in a very quiet neighborhood and the surroundings are beautiful! Also, its proximity to wineries, the Calaveras Big Tree State Part, ski resorts and quaint gold mining towns makes it an especially fun location. Veena was a delight to work with--feels like we have known her for years! Since we do weekend getaways with friends often, this location will be very high on our list for a future visit.

Perfect Wedding Weekend

My husband and I wanted our wedding weekend in Arnold and Bear Valley to be a "Winter Wonderland" experience for our families. They were all traveling from out of state and making a long drive to celebrate with us in a place that was important to us. We wanted it to be worth it! The Roesler Cabin was perfect! The setting was wonderful. The big beautiful windows and huge trees made me want to move there permanently. There was also plenty of space for my parents, 2 sisters, and their kids. The furniture was welcoming for a larger group and the kitchen was well-stocked. The owners were also responsive to our requests (for a few extra towels, etc.) We even had a great game of Hide-and-go-Seek with my nieces! The driveway is steep, so if snow is a possibility, be sure to have 4-wheel drive. All in all, this cabin was even more perfect than I pictured and it helped contribute to the best weekend of my life.

We've just returned from this beautiful cabin after a nice 4 night stay. It is very clean with updated decor and furnishings. The beds were all really comfortable! Our kids loved the downstairs game room. It kept them entertained and gave them a "space of their own." The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessities. We hope to return to this cabin during the summer, and again next year during ski season! Two thumbs up!!

I chose to stay in this cabin because it was reasonably priced and looked the most updated compared to the other VRBO offerings. I was not let down - this cabin was delightful! As other guests mentioned, it is very well-equipped, clean, and modern. The owner was VERY easy to work with, and even checked to make sure I had arrived and was doing OK. The only drawback was no hair dryer - didn't think to bring one. Book this right away!

I give it an A++++. Not only is this cabin beautifully decorated but it is very cozy. All of the other cabins we have stayed at are so outdated. Your cabin reminded me of my home, more modern yet comfortable. It met my standard of clean which are very high. The cabin was much bigger than we expected and could accomodate 12 people comfortably if not more. The younger kids LOVED the game room and the adults were able to have "adult time" upstairs. The loft was perfect for the teenagers who did not want to be with the yonger kids or the adults. The kitchen had all the neccessary supplies and some xtras like napkins and zip lock bags that we had forgotten. The kids had a great time. It was a beautiful weekend with lots of snow. A beautiful winter wonderland!! We had never been to Arnold and were so impressed. We decided to make it an annual tradition. We loved it so much we can't wait to go again!! :) Thanks so much for sharing your place with us!!

OMG, if you think the photos of this property are beautiful, you will be even more pleasantly surprised when you open the door. It is absolutely spectacular and, as the title implies, it is also very cozy. The three levels make it perfect for a shared vacation with friends or for a large family reunion. The first level with the bunkbed setup, Nintendo game library and air hockey is a kid's dream haven. The second level with the deck off of the living area is very relaxing. The third level has a wonderful den/sitting area that overlooks the livingroom/dining room and the master bedroom rivals a 5 star hotel room. We wish we could have stayed longer!! Thank you!

We had a great time at this home. It has many great amenities yet still has an oustanding cabin presence. The owner was very easy to work with and we will keep coming back. Highly recommended!
