Blue Atlantis is a 2 level direct beach front home exquisitely decorated with Italian tile throughout the main floor. This spacious 5000+sq ft home is enhanced by natural light that filters in from all sides. There is an open floor plan that combines the living and dining area with the well-appointed kitchen, making family gatherings comfortable and cozy. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with upgraded appliances, cabinets, granite countertops, a wet bar, 2 dishwashers, wine cooler and an ice machine. The adjacent dining room holds a custom made granite table that seats 12 and the kitchen bar seats another 6 guests.
In the living room your hosts have provided a fireplace, Baby Grand Piano, an iPod docking station, and a CD music selection that can be played on the sound system that goes throughout the whole house! Each room, including the covered porch overlooking the gulf, has its own music control panel. The east master bedroom suite on the main floor has a direct gulf view, a small sitting area, a king sized bed and a full private bath featuring a Jacuzzi tub, a separate shower and double sinks. The west bedroom on this level has a direct gulf view; queen sized bed and a full private bath with a stand up shower. All of the bathrooms have cultured marble and each of the bedrooms are equipped with a ceiling fan.
The second floor has 2 outside decks both perfect for enjoying the gorgeous Alabama sunrise and sunset! The ground level entry and foyer provides easy access to the upper levels as well as the beach. The central focus of the 2nd floor is the theater room. It features a 55' LED HDTV and a HD DVR player and a large rounded sofa and 2 reclining chairs for your viewing comfort. The east master bedroom suite on the 2nd floor has a direct gulf view, a deck, a queen sized bed with an accompanying trundle bed, a full private bath with a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower and double sinks. The west master bedroom on the 2nd floor features a direct gulf view, a deck, a queen sized bed, and a full private bath with a garden tub. The 5th & 6th bedrooms are also located on the 2nd floor. One features 2 twin beds while the other has 4 bunk beds with an additional trundle bed. These 2 bedrooms share a full private bath with a stand up shower. All of the bathrooms on the 2nd floor also feature cultured marble and the bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. The home is also equipped with a convenient laundry facility with a full sized washer and dryer. This is a non-smoking home that will comfortable occupy 16 guests. We do not rent to student groups or anyone under the age of 25.

This home is very large and beautiful, and can easily accommodate large groups. It is beautifully furnished and well equipt with everything you may need. The only reason I did not give this vacation rental a rating of excellent is due to some cleanliness issues. They do not wash the bed spreads, and the one in our room was disgusting; the high chair still had food stuck on it and it's cloth cover, and when we went to use the igloo drink container, it was filled with moldy liquid. The beach chair and toy storage area was a disaster. These are things that can easily be overlooked by the cleaning crew, but with the cleaning fees added to the rental, these things should be addressed. When I called about the bed spread issue, I was brought a new bedspread within minutes. I would recommend this property to large groups, but I would suggest that they give it an inspection and make the necessary calls before settling in.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful vacation experience. Our entire family enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was quiet and private, and the beach was still wonderful, in spite of the oil spill. We will definitely look into renting again.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
