Conveniently located just 2.5 mi from downtown Tahoe City, this comfortable condo has everything you will need to enjoy a weekend, week or month in the mountains. A short drive to the west is Tahoe City, where you will find public beaches, shopping and great restaurants.
An easy 8.5 mi to the east is the nightlife of Crystal Bay, NV and the North Shore Casinos. For the skiers and snowboarders, Squaw Valley USA, Alpine Meadows, Northstar at Tahoe and Homewood Mtn. Resort are all a short 15 to 20 min drive away.
Inside you will find a well equipped kitchen complete with dining nook. The living room is complete with two couches (one folds into a bed), 42" LCD TV w/satellite, DVD, VCR, Stereo, Books, Games and a fireplace.
The first floor bedroom holds a queen bed and full bathroom. Upstairs you will find a lofted master bedroom also with a queen bed and full bathroom. The unit is stocked with extra towels and sheets, has a stackable washer/dryer and a forced air furnace that quickly warms the space.
Dollar Hill 2 amenities include a year round jacuzzi and sauna. Snow removal is provided during winter months. During the summer, there is a tennis court, basketball, and a large pool complete with lounge chairs and tables.
We are conveniently located across the road from the Tahoe bike path and just minutes from great hiking / Mtn. biking trails and of course, Lake Tahoe. Please contact us if you have any further questions. This is a non-smoking and no pet unit.

I rented a unit in this complex for many years prior to buying. It is a well maintained complex and is conveniently located.

Location, Location, Location. Close to town, trails and the lake, what else do you need??
Cross country ski center. Ski and snowshoe rentals available. Great hiking and biking trails in summer.
Great food, burgers, tacos, salads, etc. In the summer, eat outside, down by the river.
Great hiking, Mtn. biking and snowshoeing!! Access off of Rawhide Dr or Silver Tip Dr. Maps are available at the condo or at area bike shops.
Great hiking trail. Approx three miles each way. Five small lakes that make a great picnic area.
Great backcountry access!! Little bit of everything for everyone.
Site of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Great skiing and boarding for all abilities. Be sure to ride the cable car to high camp, go ice skating or relax in the pool/hot tubs.
Approx. three miles up to a small lake past many beautiful waterfalls. Best hiked late spring or early summer.

I spent nearly ten years living in Tahoe and purchased this condo as a primary residence. I am a firefighter/paramedic in the Tahoe area. After getting married and moving in with my wife we decided to convert my condo into a vacation rental. We enjoy hiking, Mtn. biking, boating and everything else Tahoe has to offer. Tahoe is a beautiful year round vacation destination. We hope you enjoy your stay.
