Our first trip to Seattle. We used VRBO a number of times in other cities and this house was the best. We loved the Queen Anne location. It was a very easy drive from the airport, minutes from downtown. We had three sunny gorgeous days with views of Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. This house has a well stocked kitchen and we were able to cook easily for 8. Our favorite dinner was cooking the seafood we got at the Pike Market while listening to the SONOs sound system which was great. Best Of All was the owner Perrin and house manager Laurie who personally went room to room while talking on the phone with my wife, to try to help her locate her lost planner after we left. Great personal service. We can't wait to come back.
Owner response:We loved having you and are so pleased you enjoyed staying. We have put a lot of love in the home and glad you noticed! We only wish we had found the missing planner.

We stayed for 7 nights: 2 adults, 2 kids and a small dog. My parents stayed two of the nights as well and we hosted a couple of family/friend get togethers while there. The house was very clean, quiet, comfortable, and extremely well stocked. The pictures accurately reflect the feel of the place. Our kids (ages 7 & 10) loved the basement that was fully stocked with video games. The local property manager responded to our questions very promptly. The neighborhood is excellent for walking and running (be prepared for major hills!) with stellar views of Puget Sound and downtown. There are many good restaurants and shops nearby. We would definitely stay here again!
Owner response:Heather! We so enjoyed having you! Really thrilled that it worked out for the whole family, including your dog. :) We try hard to have enough for kids to do too while they are there.

We couldn't have been more pleased with our 10 day stay in this lovely home on Queen Anne. It was immaculate, comfortable--true to the descriptions and photos. The master bedroom suite with the heated bathroom floor, large bathtub and huge closet/laundry room, all on the top floor, were such a treat. The kitchen was incredible with every appliance and gadget one could ever use, and the downstairs media room with all the electronics was much appreciated by all. We had an 18 month old with us and rented a crib and 2 rubber safety gates. This worked very well. We would love to come back and stay in Summer and take full advantage of the decks!.

We stayed here with my in-laws and 2 kids and there was more than enough room for sleeping and for a 3 year old to explore (and also plenty of princess books which really made our trip!). The house is on back side of Queen Anne so about a 15 min walk to shops, etc. but with GREAT views and the house itself is very, very clean and kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with more than essentials. Pics on vrbo accurately reflect the character of the place and I would highly recommend staying here. Great Thai on Boston Street off of Queen Anne Ave (Orrapine) and yummy sandwiches at Homegrown. Manager of property stopped by and was solicitous and charming with my in-laws. Perfect for groups.
Owner response:We loved having you and so happy you were able to explore some of our favorite haunts, like Orrapin and Homegrown!! Yum. :) Come visit again please!

This house is beautiful! I stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend and loved every minute of it. It was everything we could have asked for and more. Very spacious and modern and a great view. Located in a great, quiet neighborhood not too far from downtown. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you!

We had a fabulous girl's weekend. Would love to go back in the summer when we could enjoy the decks and views even more. The kitchen was very well stocked and next time would cook in more often! The media room was great for our "chick flick" and so convenient to have laundry facilities and blow dryers and toiletries at our disposal. Less to pack! Hope to be back!
Owner response:Connie, we so enjoyed having you, snow and all! We're relieved that as late as your flight had you arrive, you could fall into a comfy bed. :)

We rented the house for out of town wedding guests and it worked out wonderfully. The location is great and the house is beautiful. Bearing in mind it was part of our wedding planning, it was nice to have something go so smoothly. The owner was a pleasure to work with and the manager was attentive to the very few needs we had. Thank you for the use of your house for such an important weekend in our lives!
Owner response:Jeff, we so enjoyed having you at Seattle Style. Our goal is to make it comfortable and seamless, especially when something as stressful as a wedding is taking place! Do visit us again.

This is a late entry, but couldn't miss the chance to comment on how wonderful our stay here was. We had a group of 8 girls and had such a fantastic time. The house was perfect with plenty of room for us all, and the kitchen was incredible! We had a cooking party and our cook commented how she didn't need to bring anything since it was already there! Beautiful water view and in an excellent neighborhood. Close to shopping and incredible restaurants, We suggest eating at Toulouse Petit in Queen Anne...amazing! It was hard to leave this house behind, Will definitely recommend to everyone!
Owner response:We were so happy to have you Erin! Please come again and enjoy yourselves. We agree, the house and neighborhood is amazing!

We just got home from our time at this house and already miss it! We were in town for a wedding and had 3 couples, including a toddler! The house was so functional for what we needed. We each had our own space, our own floor actually! The den was so relaxing and they really cater toward kids! The location is beautiful and convienent to downtown Seattle, the grocery store, and Starbucks. The price is extremely affordable for what you get! We would definitely rent this house again!
Owner response:Kylan, thank you for the nice review. We enjoyed having you and hope you come again! We always wanted to have a vacation rental, decorated and designed by us, for others to enjoy. That is much of why we do it and are so glad you enjoyed. ;)

A really different, well presented, spacious modern townhouse - great views across the bay (really special sitting in bed with a morning tea and that scenery!) and everyone had their own space to chill out in which was important with older teenagers in tow. Loved the kitchen/diner and fantastic decking outside on which we barbecued lots! Great supplies of towels/ bed linen and all beautifully kept - real care and attention to detail as well in bathrooms and bedrooms (also loved the walk in wardrobe/dressing room!) Nice to have an off street parking place for the car rental (car esssential in this area -very hilly) but most things we visited were only a 10 - 20 min drive downtown away! Great to find a Whole Foods just down the road too so, with a car, we found the property ideally situated. My teenagers thought the TV etc all good and we all liked the fab sound/music system in the house! As a vacation rental this was definitely in my top 2 of all those that we have stayed in when visiting the US. Thank you for providing such a great base for a Seattle holiday!
Owner response:Sally, we are so happy you all enjoyed it! We love our international visitors and hope you will join us again!

The house is beautiful. We arrived a few minutes early, and due to a quick turnaround, the property manager was still cleaning up. She was very helpful and gave us directions to the closet market and we left her to finish up. The house was better stocked than I expected with things like spices, etc. We were all a bit overwhelmed by the strict re-cycling rules in Seattle, They were explained to us in detail, but we often found ourselves asking, is this compost, recycle or trash!!! The location was terrific, a short drive to the heart of the city, great view of the cruise ship harbor. One parking spot in the driveway, street parking would be difficult.
Owner response:Jean, we so enjoyed having you. Yes, Seattle is working to be forefront in the world of recycling, a novel goal, but confusing at times. There usually is a lot of street parking so we hope that you found enough. We loved having you!

Stunning views from the upper and middle decks. Lots of room for kids to play. Whole house music system was very enjoyable. Very relaxing with easy access to downtown Seattle. And the gal that checked us in and checked in every so often was lots of fun and very helpful. No doubt we would rent this property again if we have another large group get together in Seattle. Many Thanks!

We were blessed to stay in this beautiful home for the week of my son's wedding, as he wed his college sweetheart...a lovely, local Seattle girl. This home was just perfect for our needs with its three levels, beautiful garden, and terrific deck spaces! Not only was our extended family all able to fit nicely under one roof, but we were able to host the rehearsal luncheon and an out-of-towners cocktail party on the premises. Everyone loved the venue, the views, and the music system! The house was beautifully furnished and amazingly stocked for all our needs. Perrin could not have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and Laurie, the wonderful housekeeper, went above and beyond for us! Perrin's next door neighbor even served as our bartender...how's that for convenience and service? Thank you so much! The Bennett Family-Coto de Caza, California

We have rented many VRBO houses and apartments, and I put this wonderful home right at the top. We were 3 children and 4 adults, and everyone was happy. The kitchen was so well outfitted that we simply bought delicious ingredients at Whole Foods down the hill and prepared most of our meals there. The grandparents in the master suite woke up every morning to water views from their bed. Decks at every level provided quiet places to read, and even had overhangs to escape the daily rain showers. There was a basket filled with books and brochures, helping us decide what to do next. The comfortable lower level gave the children opportunity to watch DVDs after run-arounds all day. And the unique architecture and lighting gave the family much to think about as they plan building their own home in Seattle. Of course Seattle is filled with great restaurants, but about 5 minutes away we found a hidden treasure for breakfast - the Shanty Cafe. Give it a try!
Owner response:Judy, we loved having you and we mostly love hearing that people enjoyed themselves. As you know, we put our heart and soul into the unique architecture and working to make it a beautiful and cozy place to stay. We agree, the Shanty is a great breakfast spot!

This house is beautiful and perfect for a group get-away! It's in a lovely residential area away from the bustle of the city but only 5-10 minutes from everything. A great neighborhood for a morning run! The view from the kitchen, dining room, and master bedroom is outstanding--the Sound and snow-capped mountains. We even enjoyed time out of the deck in February. The house has a well-stocked kitchen, entertainment goodies, nice linens, essentials like hair dryers, shampoo and ironing goodies, and the artwork throughout the house is beautiful. The living space is large but comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed cooking and dining at the house as well as lighting a fire in the fireplace in the evening--we even played Guitar Hero downstairs in the media room. The basement is also well-stocked for children--lots of toys, DVDs and game systems. If we return to Seattle we will rent this beautiful home again happily, and obviously would highly recommend it for others!

We had a fabulous girls reunion weekend at the house! We spent almost the entire 4 days at the house just relaxing and catching up. There was more than enough room for the 8 of us and the house was very well stocked with everything from shampoo, hair dryers ( even q- tips!) to an incredibly well stocked kitchen. They did not spare quality on anything! The sound system was so much fun but we did have a bit of trouble with it. ( could have been operator error but the fact that it even had the system was impressive!) The neighborhood streets were very tight so I would not recommend driving anything bigger than a mini van in the area. Other than that, gorgeous house, breathtaking view and great location!

My family recently stayed at the Seattle Style house in Queen Anne for my wedding, and it couldn't have been a better location. The house is absolutely GORGEOUS with spectacular decks and views of the sound and Olympic mountains beyond. Inside the house is very spacious with plenty of living and sleeping space for multiple couples and large families. Although it's in close proximity to some of Seattle's best attractions and favorite neighborhoods, a night in is hard to pass up. The house is stocked with just about everything you'd need for restaurant-worthy entertaining - cooking utensils, dishes (even for kids), wine glasses and an incredible sound system. Honestly, if I could, I would live here permanently. Also, the property was impeccable when we arrived, even though guests had just checked out the day before. We were all very impressed with the level of cleanliness, especially for such a large home. Finally, the owners were very helpful and prompt in answering questions about the rental and making sure we got settled in okay. Overall, I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Seattle or for those living in the area who have large parties visiting. It's a much, much better option for guests than a hotel or your own house even!
Owner response:We so enjoyed having Kristi and her family stay. Knowing they were very comfortable is why we do this! Kristi, come back again!

My family and I stayed at this wonderful home for the past week. We visited from AK, CA, NH, VA as well as the local area. What a comfortable, spacious and beautiful house! Everyone had a great time, whether cooking in the large fully equipped kitchen, enjoying the view off the back deck, sitting and talking by the fireplace or just relaxing late at night in front of the flat screen TV. The kids had plenty of things to play with, as the house was thoughtfully stocked up with toys, stuffed animals and DVDs to keep children occupied. Everything we needed was close by too, which was a nice surprise. We found a Whole Foods and QFC that are within a five minute drive. Also, there was a great bakery within walking distance. Thank you very much to the owners for putting your exquisite home on vrbo.com. We left Seattle and this lovely property with memories that will last a lifetime.
Owner response:We so enjoyed having you and your family, Matthew! Hope to see you next year.

Wow....what a house to behold! It lives up to the description and then some! We have used HomeAway and VRBO in the past and had good experiences. That being said, this one outshines all of our previous experiences! The home is perfect home away from home! Everything from the bathrooms (stocked with toiletries), the views of Puget Sound/Elliot Bay, Kitchen (very nicely equipped), and many others!Perin made the process easy and while we never had any problems with the house, she made her info available for easy contact! As they say in real estate, location, location, location......this place has it! It is easily accessible to lots of Seattle sites and even things further out! We make an annual trip to Seattle and can't wait to hopefully stay there again!

Having traveled overseas for years I've stayed in some awesome places and this home here in Seattle is on one of my top "3" to visit again. Photos "do not do the home justice" and one of the few homes stocked with "everything" including the kitchen sink! Stayed here twice now and both times it brought family and friends together adding to memories we shall treasure forever. Perrin is easy going and comes through. Area is easy to travel, but might suggest Mapquesting "coming and going" from address in Queen Anne area into Seattle minutes away, etc. i.e., until you know the streets. There is a QVC Market close by that we found. Both times it was difficult to close the front door knowing we were heading back to reality!!! You'll LOVE the architecture elements of this home. Thank you for sharing!
Owner response:Kathy, we have so enjoyed having you and your friends and family stay with us, twice! :)

This was the perfect get away place for my group of 8 girlfriends. We love our families, but cherish out bi-annual weekends where we talk, laugh, dance and cook gourmet meals together. This Seattle house had plenty of space for everyone and was by far the most beautiful budget friendly place we've stayed in! We decided that this stay set the bar so high that we now have to start at ground zero with our expectations for the next place. But of course, we'd love to stay again! Thanks, Perrin!!!

This beautifully architected hillside home sits in a quiet neighborhood on Queen Anne hill. The owners have paid great attention to detail both in the design of the home and in outfitting it with everything a visitor might require for a comfortable stay. The architecture and design are very open and contemporary, with elegant use of natural wood, steel, and masonry. The beautiful kitchen is fully equipped with everything from barbecue tools to Tupperware. Window seats in both the master bedroom and dining room provide a luxurious perch for enjoying the views, which are primarily west; you can see the ferryboats come and go from the Seattle waterfront. Downstairs from the main floor, you pass dual home office areas and a bedroom and bath before you enter a generous family room with flat screen TV, video games, and children's toys—this daylight basement opens to a cozy, tiered backyard. The master suite on the top floor features its own private deck, a large bathroom with double sinks, spa tub, and separate shower, and a room-sized walk-in closet with washer and dryer. We loved it and hope to go back!
