RENT DIRECT FROM THE OWNERS AND SAVE!!! There's nothing more relaxing than sitting on the lanai watching the palm trees sway in the afternoon breeze while enjoying the fabulous ocean view; the swells breaking over the reef where green sea turtles play. October through April you can see the whales as they breach and teach their young, that’s right, whale watching is possible from the lanai!

Located on the second floor, the Kauhale Makai (Village by the Sea) Resort includes a Sparkling Tile Pool, Hot Tub, and Kiddies Pool, these pools also have beautiful murals of whales and turtles. Putting green, shuffleboard, and volleyball court, as well as barbecue facilities are also on the grounds. Our guests are welcome to use the two public tennis courts located south of Kauhale Makai. Laundry facilities are on nearly every floor of the resort. In addition, a concierge next to the front quest for booking events and attractions.

This condo was recently renovated with granite kitchen counters, new appliances, new flooring and bathroom lavatory and everything one would need for a "home away from home." We lament sleeping on poor beds while on vacation, with visions of our bed back home. This is why we have a King-size "Pillow Top bed manufactured by Custom Comfort Mattress Company in the bedroom. We are sure you will appreciate a good sleep while on vacation. In addition, should you tire of the ocean views, there are two TV’s with DVD, as well as full stereo system for your entertainment as well as a computer with high-speed wireless internet for our guests to surf the web or access their e-mail including a WiFi router allowing you to connect your own laptop. The entire condo has been furnished and decorated with island furniture and art, and there is, CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING! From the moment you walk through the door you will know you are in Paradise. Sorry, but no pets are allowed (resort rules). This is a NON-SMOKING unit.

  • Thankyou so much for the great stay in your unit #206 at village by the sea. We have stayed at village by the sea many times, but this was by far the prettiest and most well stocked condo we have been in. there was an abundance of towels, beach towels, bedding, etc. The kitchen had everything possible that could be needed to make a great meal. The decor was was fantastic!!! thanks again we will be back.

  • This was our first experience renting a condo on vacation, and it was a terrific experience. All arrangements went smoothly and the condo was beautiful and comfortable. It truly was a "home away from home" and very well equiped. I love to cook and the kitchen was great with everything I needed and the new bed was like sleeping on the clouds at the summit of Haleakala. There were even beach towels, mats, cooler, water jug and a beach umbrella. All you need to stay here is your bathing suit and some suncreen. Having the internet at your fingertips is a tremendous convenience. Kihei is a great community with lots of great restaurants, beaches and shops without the parking hassles of Lahaina. But it's a quick drive to most parts of the island, so sight-seeing was not a chore. We are already planning our next trip may pick our travel time based on its availability. If you enjoy comfortable surroundings with the beauty of the islands in the decor, this is the place for you.

  • We had a great time in 206. Good view of the mountain and the bay. Easy access to the beach - although we didn't swim at that one. It is easy to drive to near by bigger beaches. The condo had many different spices for cooking, beach chairs and other beach equipment. The grounds were lovely and the bbq area was really useful. We would definatly come again. Thanks so much!

If I had a dream of what a Muai condo should look like it would be this one. I appreciate the time and thought you must have put into the decor, it is simply perfect for this island.
