  Me and a group of friends (ages 26-29) stayed at Villa Cielo for about a week. The house was even better than we could have expected - the pictures are on point but don't fully do the villa justice. The house staff was very helpful - Emilio and Lilly do a great job keeping everything in order and making sure you enjoy your stay (Emilio goes the extra distance to make sure you and your possessions will stay safe). You are pretty secluded and have privacy (with amazing views from the top of the mountain), but it's a 5 minute drive to the bars/restaurants of Playa Hermosa and about 10-15 minutes to Jaco, so you can have the best of both worlds. I would absolutely stay there again.

  I have been to alot of places, and the 5 star hotels but by far this is the best place to visit. The views from the house was worth the trip from working farms down below to the magnificent ocean. The views are just breathe taking. During our stay there was a lightning storm and it was the best light show ever in the middle of the night, bummed that the weather was going to be lousy in the morning not in Costa Rica I woke up to a the biggest rainbow throughout the valley right down below. The staff was attentive to all our needs. Shopping, restaurants, dancing, bars, beaches all a short cab ride away. In all honesty you can keep your elevators and 5 star hotels, I want my own staff (that cooks great home made meals with dessert, folds my dirty laundry, my own security guard, people bringing me coconuts from the tree, bringing me ice for my beer and drinks. I dont want to worry about waking people up if I come back late. I want an 6,000 square foot house not a room with a nice bathroom and king size bed. This place is a paradise, and truly is a home away from home

  THE VILLA CIELO IS MORE THAN YOU COULD IMAGINE. A BREATHTAKING VIEW, SCENIC HORIZONS AND LUXURIOUS,SPACIOUS ROOMS AWAIT PROSPECTIVE VISITORS.. WE WERE GREETED BY 3 YELLOW TOUCANS IN THE MORNING, 3 ORANGE TOUCANS IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVASIVE WHITE FACED CAPUCHIN MONKEYS PEEKED FROM THE TREES IF YOU WATCHED CAREFULLY. IGUANAS VISITED IN THE AFTERNOON. THE VILLA HAS A HOUSE STAFF THAT IS SO ATTENTIVE AND INTUITIVE, (ALLYOU HAVE DO IS THINK IT AND THEY ARE THERE WITH IT.) GLORIA AND LILI PREPARE BREAKFASTS THAT ARE FABULOUS AND A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY. UMBERTO IS ALWAYS THERE TO HELP ICE DOWN YOUR BEER OR TO SET UP A POOLSIDE UMBRELLA. FOR THE ANIMAL LOVERS...THERE ARE TWO FRIENDLY GERMAN SHEPARDS WHO LOVE ATTENTION THAT CAN BE LEFT FREE TO ROAM AROUND TO CONSOLE THOSE WHO MISS THEIR PETS LEFT BEHIND AT HOME. JUST ASK THE HOUSE STAFF TO LEAVE THEM LOOSE FOR YOU TO ENJOY!! ANGELO AND CATHERINE WERE VERY HELPFUL IN COORDINATING THINGS FOR US ON THE ISLAND.WE SUGGEST LEARNING A LITTLE SPANISH BEFORE YOU GO.IT WILL BE VERY HELPFUL. THANKS TO CATHERINE WHO VISITED WITH US AND HELPED WITH TRANSLATION. THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL TIME!

  OUR FAMILY OF TWELVE HAD 10 GLORIOUS DAYS AT THIS CASA AND HAVE NOTHING BUT RAVES FOR THE PROPERTY AND STAFF. INCLUDED IN THE 12 WE HAD FOUR TEENAGERS AND NEVER A COMPLAINT OF "NOTHING TO DO", STAFF ARRANGED FOR "EDDIE" TO PRESENT LOTS OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE YOUNGSTERS AND FISHING TRIP FOR THE PAPA WHICH WAS FANTASTIC - 12 DORADOS AND ONE WAHOO CAUGHT AND SUPER COOK GLORIA MADE A WONDERFUL MEAL. MORNINGS STARTED WITH MONKEYS MAKING THEIR RUN AT MANGO TREE BESIDE THE CASA, TOCHAN MOST DAYS MADE AN APPEARANCE ALONG WITH OCCASIONAL MACAW - JUST LIKE BEING IN THE RAIN FORREST. THE HOUSE IS EXACTLY LIKE DESCRIBED BY OWNER AND THEN SOME, ALL OUR FAMILY LOVED OUR STAY AND SAY "GRACIAS POR PURA VIDA"

  Angelo and his staff are top notch. Very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The house SURPASSED expectations. I was nervous at first to rent a house in CR, but this place is perfect and worth every penny! Amazing views, beaches, bedrooms, pool, and monkeys in the backyard!

  “The villa was FANTASTIC - worked perfectly for us. Gloria is a great cook and as a result we ate in an awful lot which was very relaxing. Lily kepts the place spotless and even after we had thrown things all over the place in our various dashes to get ready it would always be clean and tidy again when we got back.Christian was also a very good and knowledgeable driver. Hopefully we will be able to come back very soon. This is the place to stay in Costa Rica! "

  This was my 3rd trip to Costa Rica, specifically to Jaco Beach so I knew exactly what I was looking for. I spoke with owner Angelo multiple times and told him that our group was looking for a place that offered major relaxation, private pool, hot tub, bar area, and large bedrooms that had attached bath and were similar in size. Luckily, not only did Angelo and I hit it off but his home offered everything on my list with large over-sized rooms with king beds and attached baths, onsite security guard Umberto and the wonderful house maids/cooks. The house was fully furnished and loaded with accessories. I thought that the large relaxing fountain in foyer/front entrance of the house was really neat and outside the mountain views all the way to the pacific were spectacular. We got everything I had asked for and then some! Hope to be back at the house soon!!!

  This is an amazing villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Amenities were top notch, the facilities exceptionally well maintained and the views and proximity to the zip lines, the national parks, and beaches are beyond description. The best part, believe it or not, was the great care by the house keeping staff, Umberto, Carla, and Lilly. They were so responsive and terrific, dedicated people who kept the place pristine. They were always there to cater to your every need. Umberto even took us on a trip to a local waterfall, just off the property that was one of our adventures that we will cherish. If you have a large group, this is THE place to stay.

  My family recently stayed at the Villa during the Christmas holidays. We arrived in San Jose late at night and Angelo made sure our driver was waiting for us. We couldn't find out driver so I called Angelo. He called me back within 5 minutes - I believe it was 2am his time. The driver was there we just couldn't find him. He stayed on the phone with me until we found the driver. He helped make arrangements for us at Bouganvilla Hotel in San Jose and called them to let them know about our late arrival. We hired the driver to take us to the villa. When we arrived the staff had already purchased items we had requested. The pictures on Homeaway do not do the Villa justice. The views are amazing, the rooms are large and the staff is very nice. Gloria and the staff cooked our dinners. They were wonderful. Her empanadas were so yummy. We hired a Chef on Christmas Eve. We enjoyed our entire stay at the Villa. We used King Tours for zip lining and Manual Antonio. Every morning we saw a couple of monkeys in the trees but the most amazing was on the last day there was around 6-7 monkeys jumping from tree to tree around the Villa. It gave me chills. Overall the experience was incredible and I would go back. There was 13 of us that went on this family trip. I would go back with my family and stay again. I highly recommend this Villa. I cannot say enough good things about the service and Angelo (the owner) was very attentive when I had a question or concern. My only recommendation is to know some spanish.

Easter & Spring Break $1300 per night for a week.

Or 3 nights rental for the Holiday $2600 a night

4-5 night or more rental for $1560 a night

Their is a charger after a group of 12 people: $50 a night per person

Children are charger after 12 years old.
