Architects and architectural students worldwide are drawn to Sanpiper for its famously unique low density layout. Very spacious, quiet and airy 1,600 square foot single story condo designed for a sense of privacy and relaxed living. Large private patio with gas barbecue and ample seating. Additional large patio leading to common grass area, colorful flora, meandering pathways and closely situated pool. Each pool area is dedicated to only a 10 unit pod offering itself to a sense of exclusivity. Poolside offers shuffleboard, a putting green and covered patio with refrigerator, counter and cupboard space and gas barbecue amenities. The beautiful Shadow Mountain completes the serenity as a natural backdrop.

Sandpiper is wonderfully located to access all that Palm Desert has to offer. It is one block from the El Rodeo Drive of the desert, El Paseo with high end shopping, unique boutiques and an array of eating establishments. The largest mall of the desert is directly across Highway 111 and in walking distance as well. The McCullum Theater is a few blocks away featuring live performances year round. Within 5 miles of the condo to the west one can be at The Riverwalk or the Children's Museum, to the north the swapmeet at The College of the Deserts, to the east is The Living Desert with desert wildlife and gardens and to the south hiking trails off of Highway 74. For the golf lover, all Bob Hope Classic Golf Courses are within a 15 minute drive.

Neighboring cities offer an array of activities as well. Ten minutes east golf, tennis and spa amenities are accessible in La Quinta and Indian Wells. The lively Palm Springs strip is 15 minutes to the west where artistry shops and multi-cultural eateries abound.

Accessing Palm Desert can be as easy as the Palm Springs Airport which is 11.40 miles, 20 minutes to the east or Interstate 10 to the north. Just off the Bob Hope exit of Interstate 10 Agua Caliente casino can be reached and is only a mere 12 miles, 7.54 minutes from Palm Desert and the condo as well!

About the owner: We are a family of five. We have two girls and one boy. Our daughters are 12 and 6 and our son is 9 years of age. My husband and I are native Southern Californians and have had the good fortune of being able to access the desert our entire lives. The desert provides an escape from the pace of the Southern California lifestyle for so many Southern Californians. The natural beauty of the desert seems to wrap itself around you providing a sense of tranquility within. Since the respective births of each of our children, we have been able to expose them to this environment as well. The desert pace offers a healthy environment in which to decompress while reaquainting with family and friends and nurturing the simplicity of time spent together.

Why the Owner Chose Sandpiper:
It was not a choice to 'buy a vacation rental in this location' but rather a privilege to nourish the memories established over a 37 year period of my husband's family's ownership of this condominium. It is with honor that we continue to create new traditions and experiences while maintaining a sense of goodness created over the years.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our experiences in the desert have evolved as we have as a couple. Initially, golf and tennis were amongst our daily endeavors while venturing to world renowned restaurants were a favorite to liven up the nightlife. As our children have become part of our lives, we have cultivated our interests more in line with theirs. It began with The Children's Museum, The Living Desert, swimming and timeless strolls to the El Paseo strip to enjoy a meal out and savor the beauty of colorful art intertwined with storefronts. As our kids have grown, we have integrated wonderfully serene hiking into the repertoire. It seems as if we have come full circle for, the children can be a part of golf and/or tennis also. Truly, the timelessness of the desert provides so much for so many of any age.
