The fully furnished beautiful one level Casita style condo is located in quiet well maintained Canyon Sands close to shopping, Trader Joe's, great restaurants and Tahquitz Golf Course. Seven swimming pools and six tennis courts. No fee for tennis. Landscaped private enclosed patio has mountain views and automatic irrigation. Two chaise lounges, patio table and chairs. Gas barbecue. Swimming pool and spa located within steps through garden gate. Two bicycles for guests use. Unit is air-conditioned and also has five ceiling fans. Floor to ceiling wood shutters in living room and kitchen. High ratio of glass to wall allows for rooms to be flooded with light when shutters are open. Master Bedroom has Queen size bed. Guest bedroom has Queen Sized Bed. One small dog acceptable. Good reasons for renting condo are as follows: property manager who looks after your every need, condo gives the feeling of a single family home....no interior adjoining walls.
Palm Springs offers many golfing opportunities as there is an abundance of golf courses. Tee times may be scheduled through a booking service. There are also many hiking trails nearby and the bicycling is excellent. The arts flourish in this valley with a wonderful art museum located in downtown Palm Springs along with many art galleries. There are several theater groups which offer Broadway musicals, plays and classical music presentations. Shopping is world class. There are several casinos nearby which also offer excellent dining and entertainment. Eisenhower Medical Center located in Rancho Mirage which is nearby.
Palm Springs is known for its fabulous restaurants; it is impossible to simply list them all. The Chamber of Commerce provides an excellent restaurant guide. Dress code is usually casual with only a very few requiring a jacket and tie for the gentleman. Many offer 'early bird specials' prior to 6 p.m.
