  We are a family of 4 and this condo was perfect for us. It was spotless clean, stocked like I have never seen a condo stocked and a real family feel in the complex. Matt returned emails and phone calls immediately prior to arrival, check in was simple, and it was a nice added touch to have Tonya call on our first day to check on us. We arrived to this condo after leaving a 5 star resort in Ka'anapali area so this condo had some tough competition...it competed well. I suspect we will head back to Maui again and if this unit is available it will be our pick. We loved having the ground floor unit as well, I was not too sure how I would feel about that...it felt like a bonus. Thanks again Matt and Tonya, our much needed trip to Maui was awesome.

  We really enjoyed our Maui vacation and this condo was everything a family could hope for. The location of the condo in the complex is perfect, it is close to everything but yet far enough away to ensure a quiet stay. The extra large lanai with the two loungers and view of the ocean made it hard to want to leave the condo! Matt and Tonya are wonderful to deal with and did a wonderful job with making this feel like home. The condo is renovated and decorated beautifully. It is extremely clean and well stocked with all the extras needed to really enjoy a beach holiday. We have been to Maui several times and this is the first review we have written, but this condo really exceeded our expectations. We would love to stay here again in the future and would recommend this condo to family and friends. Thank you Matt & Tonya for providing a home away from home!

  Stayed with our son in November and can't rave enough. Such a perfect unit with enough of everything and perfect location for sunset, away from noise and pool but close enough at the same time. Such a wonderful unit, our friends staying that go every year all agreed this was the best in the complex, thanks so much for allowing us to rent:)

  We just returned from our 14 day honeymoon at your condo. We looked at over a hundred condo's on this site and decided to go with this one. We are so happy with the choice we made. Matt and Tonya were amazing to work with from start to finish. They always got back to us fast and were always willing to answer any questions or concerns we may have had. They really go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable with every detail from making deposits to checking in and everything else in between. The condo is so well equipped with everything you need, and very tastefully decorated. The modern furnishings made it feel like home. We really enjoyed being on the ground floor. The pool and BBQ area were just steps away. The beach across the street was very nice, and we watched many sunsets there. This condo is very close walking distance to many shops and resturants which was great. We had an amazing honeymoon in Maui! We will most definitely be back and will be booking this condo in the future again. I will be recommending this condo to any friends or family members travelling to Maui in the future.   We just returned from 10 wonderful days in Maui. The condo is amazing. It is exactly as it looks in the listing. The beach is right across the street, grocery stores etc. very close by. The condo has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and well maintained. The owners were very helpful in providing all the info we needed to get to the condo and get checked in. I would recommend the Cafe Ole for dinner, amazing food and service at reasonable prices. The Road to Hana tour is awesome. We watched whales breaching while catching the awesome sunsets at the beach. Sea turtles fed on the rocks near shore in the morning and evenings. We look forward to returning and hope to stay at this condo again. Thanks Matt &Tonya for sharing your peice of paradise with us. Gale & Mike Kingston, ONT

  You really can't beat this place. From proximity to the beach, the pool and the BBQ area you simply can't find a unit at Kamaole Sands that is better and has more to offer. The unit is spotless and recently updated so it provides all the comforts of home plus the added bonus of watching the greatest sunset every night while sitting on your patio. The owners have made sure the unit has everything a family would need to maximize their enjoyment. We had other families travelling with us that stayed in other buildings and other floors at Kamaole Sands and they all agree that our unit was the best by far!!! Guess thats why we always seemed to wrap up the evening with a gathering at our place!!!!! We would HIGHLY recommend this place to a couple or small family wanting the truly enjoy their Maui/Kehei holiday.

  I visit Maui frequently (18+ trips) and this is doubtlessly the best condo I have stayed in. Everything in the listing description is accurate. The condo is elegant, clean and comfortable. No detail has been overlooked. The property is very well maintained and the staff are friendly. Loved, loved, loved the shady lanai with the comfy lounge chairs. Spent lots of time there eating; reading; listening to Hawaiian music and the birds; and looking at the manicured gardens, fountains, ocean view and the stars at night. I enjoyed the fresh Hawaiian breeze by opening up the lanai and front doors and didn't need air conditioning. Great location as I could easily walk to restaurants, jog/walk on a spectacular oceanfront path leading to Wailea, and watch the awesome sunsets from the beach. Discovered new favorite eating places including Coconuts, Cuatro, Gannons, Cafe O'Lei at the Dunes, and Monkey Pod. There are several other new local restaurants which I'll have to try next time. This is a condo that I would wholeheartedly recommend to singles, couples and small families. Again I say, fabulous condo!!! I look forward to returning to "my" fabulous home away from home as soon as I can.

  Thanks Tonya and Matt for letting us rent your beautiful condo. We really enjoyed our first trip to Maui and so thankful we had a perfect place to stay with our 9-month old. The pictures and description are very accurate - the condo has lovely decor, it is immaculate, and had everything we needed, including a fully-stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, beach mats, chairs, umbrella, beach toys, booster seat, and pack n' play. The bed was so comfortable and it was great having a TV in both the bedroom and living room. We loved eating out on the lanai with a terrific view of the beautifully landscaped gardens, fountain, and the ocean. Our baby had so much fun using the kiddie pool and playing in the sand at the family-friendly Kamaole III beach across the street. We enjoyed using the BBQ areas that were also well-maintained and clean. The location is close to amenities for picking up groceries or restaurants when we didn't feel like cooking. It was a great home-base from where we could drive to places around the island for sight-seeing, beaches, shopping, etc. It was also close to our favourite snorkelling location, Makena landing, where we saw turtles on our last day - truly amazing! We look forward to returning and highly recommend this condo for rental.

  My husband and I stayed at Matt and Tonya's condo for our honeymoon in October 2010. The place is beautiful and the pictures featured accurately show off the condo. The condo is decorated so nicely comfortable and relaxing and you feel at home "away from home." It is very clean, well maintained and I loved that the kitchen is so well stocked. I liked the fact that the kitchen has lots of utentils and that they are good quality, (not dollar store stuff). We enjoyed the fruit basket that was waiting for us! The washer and dryer in the condo is so convenient as well!! We liked walking over to the Ocean and using the boogie boards too. We enjoyed eating dinner on the lanai and seeing the Ocean. The king size bed was very comfortable and having 2 washrooms was helpful for getting ready! We enjoyed the pool and the hot tubs as well, that were a short walk away from the condo. We would love to visit there again! We will and do recommend this to all our friends! We took the Road to Hanna, but did not drive it ourselves. We took a bus and it was well worth it to relax and enjoy the day! Thanks again!

  Our family had the best experience here. The owners are organized and dependable. The unit was clean, and beautifully decorated. All amenities were available...towels, boogie boards, all kitchen tools and appliances, lanai table and lounge chairs. Everything was labelled and stored neatly. The ground floor access to the grass area, BBQ and pool gave us more time outside together. We had a fantastic holiday and cannot wait to come again. Thanks for creating a wonderful experience for us.
