Crappie beds are scattered among the 10 boat slips on our community dock where even catfish and bass are caught along with the plentiful crappie. There is also a public launch, picnic, swimming beach at McCubbins Point, a 2 minute drive from the home's driveway should you wish to use the free public facilities at McCubbins Point instead of in our Glenmeadows.
Ideal for serious fisherman or family getaway without the hassle of excessive noise and overcrowding. Gentle sloping walking for exercise buffs, and those who don't tolerate steep grades, and safe for children. All that you need bring is your clothes, and food (condiments provided), fishing/boating/beaching equipment and a smile for sitting under the shade trees in the spacious yard, or on the front patio and observe the activity on the water. We supply games, playing cards, washers game for outdoors.
The house is eight miles east by water from the Grand Glaize Bridge, the party cove being 4 miles east, in the Glaize Arm of Lake of the Ozarks inside the Lake of the Ozarks State Park boundaries. Located off Highway A, seven and one-half miles east of busy Highway 54, north of Camdenton, and South of Osage Beach where the "action" is.
There is public beach with grass and trees for swimming and rocking in the waves only a two-minute drive away from the house on the same little peninsula on which the cottage sits. Driving slowly is recommended as deer are likely so surprise you around a bend on the way there. Boat launching facilities are also at that area. All sights and amenities are a close drive away. |
