Staying one month in Vancouver is a great thing - but staying for several weeks you need to feel at home in the right environment - and with this apartment you definetly feel as if you would have lived there always. Enough space, I could work easily, Wifi no problem, shopping around the corner (I loved the Wholefoods), nice walks - and comfortable furniture, where you can enjoy even a rainy day inside. It was a pleasure - and I will return, but then with my husband and for holiday.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

Our family (4 people including 2 teenage boys!) stayed at the Ocean Loft last July. This apartment was exactly, if not better than described on the VRBO listing. It is ideally situated near the SkyTrain station and a short walk over the Cambie bridge will take you to Vancouver's seawall and Marina. The apartment itself is exquisitely decorated with lots of personal touches. Everything looked brand new and was spotless when we arrived. The owner prepared some water and chocolates for us and was there to welcome us. She was so helpful and friendly. We felt like we were being welcomed by a friend. This place made us feel at home in Vancouver and we would recommend it to our best friends ! There is a Starbucks nearby as well as a number of shops and downtown Vancouver is quite near, one can walk (about 15 min) or bike there. Thank you for a lovely stay !Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We loved the loft. The owner thought of everything in terms of supplies. There were books, CD's, games, local information and the decor was fabulous. The bathroom was special. There was a deep tub and great shower. We had great weather while in Vancouver, but as a consequence the lost was very hot. The windows face the west and the building is brick so the unit was 28 all the time. A fan would have been helpful. The television did not work and although the owner tried to walk us through fixing it, it was not fixed before we left. She did give us a reduction in rent which we thought was very fair. There is construction going on nearby, but because we were gone all day it never bothered us.We were visiting someone in Yaletown so the walk to their place was easy. The location was great for public transport and all . Staying in this loft made our vacation in Vancouver more special.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, tourists without a car.

My husband and I stayed at this suite/loft early 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. First of all the suite was outfitted with everything we would need. The bed and lines were comfortable and gorgeous, even an IPod dock in the bedroom. While I enjoyed reading in the deep tub, my husband enjoyed all the channels on the LCD tv. The location was perfect - walking to Cambie Village, seawall, and Granville Island or we jumped on the subway and headed to the downtown core - everything seemed so close. The hosts are attentive and flexible. The deposit, payment and key transactions all smooth. I highly recommend this suite to everyone I know.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

I've stayed a number of times at the Ocean Loft. I always found it very very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The loft is a very funky space that is nicely furnished and decorated. The bed was so comfortable and with Tempur-pedic pillows were awesome. Its conveniently located near all amenities and the Canada Line. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

I stayed at the OceanLoft last week and the place has a nice location and is very clean and well maintained. The furniture and appliances were in immaculate condition and Andrea and Enrique were always available for any questions we had. We liked the views from the terrance garden and parking was not a problem. The only thing I can suggest is a curtain in the bedroom for more privacy.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.
