OUT THE DOOR TRAIL ACCESS (MOUNTAIN BIKE, HIKE, SNOW SHOE, BACK COUNTRY SKI, ETC). On Burro Trail with Cross Country skiing, Back Country skiing, Snow Shoeing, Mountain Biking, and Hiking access right out the door! Burro Trail connects to the 10th Mountain Division Hut trails, including Francie's Hut among many other biking and hiking trails. Take a break from the city life and lift lines and take advantage of the great back country access right out the door.
Enjoy Ski In / Ski Out convenience in Breckenridge (and 15-20 minute drive to Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper)! A few minutes Ski through forest/trees to a Green Run to the base of Peak 9 (Quicksilver 6 chair high speed lift). Ski back to Townhome involves Blue/Black Doublejack Run and Intermediate/Advanced skiing in the forest/trees; Ski back to townhome is dependant on Peak 10 Falcon Lift being open/running. Trundle Bed gives you Flexibility of making the Trundle bed into a King (lower twin raises to height of upper twin) OR 2 Twins. Downstairs Bedroom has TV w/ DVD / VCR and kids shows and movies.

This unit was completely efficient. It had everything we needed to feel comfortable and fine. Working appliances, enough pots/pans for cooking in, working heat, no big hassles at all. Everything was communicated to us appropriately and truthfully and the owner did not exaggerate on anything related to the home. The location was great! Although we did not use the ski in/ski out because my son had to get to ski school early each morning, the drive was extremely easy and fast. The location is really just a stones throw out of the downtown Mainstreet strip. If it was less snowy, you could even walk in, if you wanted to. It was be a moderate walk (a good workout on the way back up), but easy. It was also easy to find the house. Having the garage and walk in garage door into a mud-room type area was great, especially with the snowy boots and gear. If you are looking for anything above average, however, this place will not suit your needs. It was a little musty when we first got there, but I am pretty sensitive to this type of stuff, so it may not even both another person. It was clean, but not immaculate. Small things like a carpet cleaning over the main floor and making sure all dishes and silver ware are free of residue (not all, but a handful) would have made the experience better. The water pressure in both of the showers was so soft, although many times when you are in a mountain house, this is the status-quo. The heating system and house noises (clock in main room) could be quite irritating at times, especially if you are utilizing the pull out couch in the main room. The pull out couch, though efficient, was not comfortable. It felt more like a futon mattress, although pull out couches tend to be uncomfortable no matter what). The sheets, however, were very soft and made it easier to get the proper rest. In terms of sleeping arrangements, my two year old slept in a pack and play in the basement (they provided one, as well as provided booster seats for the large kitchen table). It worked out fine. Our 4 year old slept in the guest bedroom upstairs, while our friends and their 2 year old slept in the master bedroom. There is a very large walk in closet that they were able to put their pack and play in. The only issue is that the closet leads into the bathroom, so you need to be aware of using the bathroom before putting your small child to bed. And, we slept on the pull out couch. If you want a cost effective place to stay in Brek, this may work for uRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: I am glad that you found the locaiton to be convenient and the unit efficient. We do love the location too, espcially the proximity to hiking and short drive or longer walk to town. Thank you for pointing out some minor issues with our place, we are working to address these. My husband is investigating options for water pressure improvements and we had already scheduled a carpet cleaning in April. We have spoken to the cleaners about doing a more thorough job on the unit and dishes as well. The sofa bed is an upper end product and I have only heard compliments from friends and renters -- I am so sorry the sofa bed was not to your liking. We will double check to be sure there was no failure which would have affected the comfort of the bed. We loved this condo. My husband and I ski each year with our two kids and my sister and brother-in-law. This had plenty of space for all of us and all of our ski things and we never felt like we were tripping over jackets, helmets, gloves, etc. The three floors were great because we could put the kids to bed early without having to tip-toe around or the grown-ups could nap while the kids played in the living room. We could have put two more people in without feeling cramped at all. Beds were all comfortable, w/d were state-of-the-art and wifi was a big help for us. But most importantly for us was the location of the condo. I liked the fact that it was not at the base of the mtn because it was quiet and there was plenty of space for the kids to build snowmen and snowforts and explore the woods. My husband prefers to be right on a run and this was a bit far for his liking. But the path to the run was quick and easy and very pretty. Coming home we had to come down a longish black diamond and it was tougher on our kids who are beginner skiers. But we found out that we could get them home very easily on the same green run that we used to ski out on. They just had to walk up the hill and I carried their skiis and it was very simple. And the private hot-tub was fantastic! The owners were great to work with-- they were very responsive and returned our deposit promptly.The kitchen was also stocked with common spices and ziplock bags and those little things can really be helpful.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This was a wonderful condo! The owners are very thoughtful and have included a lot of amenities and detailed instructions for everything. They were also responsive to any questions or concerns. The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances (teapot, coffee maker, waffle maker, blender & more), many utensils, and even had various spices and other consumables. The condo also comes with 2 humidifiers, a good-quality washer & dryer, an outside grill, 2 TVs, a fireplace, & more. The ski in / ski out is a little confusing, but very doable once you understand the route (which the owners provide with instructions and pictures). We stayed here in February 2013 and it proved to be a perfect base for a ski trip. It has all the comforts of home. We didn't eat out once the entire trip, thanks to the well-stocked kitchen and a good grocery store right in Breck (city market). The gas grill, gas fireplace and private hot tub were very nice touches and the location can't be beat (ski-in/ski-out, but only five minutes to main street in Breck). There is a very nice washer/dryer combo, which helps out a ton on ski trips. Most importantly, the owner was very responsive and quickly answered every question I had prior to arrival, and mailed the damage deposit the day after we departed. I would highly recommend this unit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Our and another family stayed at the "Eagles View" for a Christmas week. The home is very comfortable. Three bedrooms can easily accommodate 4 adults and 3 children. The house is very comfortable and extremely clean. We felt at home immediately. It had everything we needed. The location is excellent. We could easily ski out even with kids ages 4,6,7. For more advanced skiers we skied in via Peak 10 with kids via Lower Lehman Trail (green) with little walk back to the house at the end. We haven’t pulled our car out of the garage for five days. But the home is quiet and feels as if you are away in the country. We especially appreciated it during extremely busy Christmas week. Gas fireplace was a treat at night. We also used the private hut tub almost every day. Owners were very responsive and provided all information needed. We would love to stay again next winter!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family rented this place for a golf weekend in the mountains and it was perfect. It was a great place to gather as a family to cook meals after playing golf and eat on the beautiful deck and play cards on their large dining room table. Would definitely plan on staying there again!! Excellent private location, and the owners were super responsive and accurate when answering any questions I had.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers.

We booked the townhome at the last minute and we hit the jackpot! The view from the living room was great and the description was 100% accurate. The place was very clean and the owners had left everything you need for the weekend, except food. The hot tub was awesome! The owners were very helpful and answered more questions than I could think of! The location is perfect, right outside of town.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

This condo was the center piece of a phenomenal ski trip weekend. The owners were very responsive and extremely accommodating throughout the entire experience. This condo was everything and more than what can be described in a brief advertisement; it's hard for words to do it justice!!! "Ski in/Ski out" is sometimes questionable when advertised but not so with this package deal. It truely is located in a perfect location for skiers and snowboarders alike to ski out to the lifts and ski back in after a long day on the slopes. The spacious bedrooms, living room, and kitchen make for a very relaxing setting for those choosing to enjoy their vacation in doors. Whether you want to start your morning off right or soothe the muscles after a long day on the slopes, the private hot tub will always provide the perfect effect that you are looking for. Our diverse group even enjoyed snow-shoeing right in the backyard that serves as a gate way to seemingly endless trails. I've not been more proud of my condo choice for a weekend get-away than when my family and friends could not stop remarking at how amazing and perfect this condo had been for our vacation. The enjoyment that my friends and family experienced because of the perfect accommodations made the experience all worth it for me. You will not be disappointed with the amenities offered with this special condo if you are charged with organizing a trip, get-away, retreat, or special event.
