  This is our 3rd year renting this cottage. It is perfect for our family (2 adults, 3kids). We ride our bikes everywhere. Close to the beach, pool and all the great things Kiawah Island has to offer. See you next year.

  Could not have asked for more. Well equipped kitchen that is nicely appointed. Great open floor plan. Loved that they enclosed porch to create another dining and reading alcove. Bedrooms are little but all have tvs, closet, and dresser. Easy walk/ bike to prettiest beach on the Atlantic. Enjoyed many of Kiawah's amenities. Kids (6 and 8 yr old boys) loved Frisbee golf course, Nature center, kayaking, beach biking, shelling. We visited Charleston, Middleton Place. Dined at The Sanctuary for Thanksgiving buffet - best ever. We have tried Wild Dunes and Seabrook but Kiawah and Sparrow Pond cottages are best.

  We found the cottage to have everything we needed: including the items required for coffee/tea (a must for that first meeting). We were there in February for a golf tournament, so didn't use pool etc, but really appreciated being so close to Cougar Point. The cottage was perfect for 6 of us, and was basically move in ready.....much appreciated after the long drive to get there...

  We were at Sparrow Pond in December. Temperatures ranged from 32 to 60 during our stay. We loved walking and biking on the beach and around the island. A bike-wildlife tour with a resort naturalist was a high point. We enjoyed our "at home" dinners on the glassed in deck. The local fresh seafood (shrimp, turna) were great. We tried several nearby restaurants listed in the cottage's guest info book and were more than satisfied. The cottage was clean and well maintained, quick walk to the beach. The only caveat I would offer, is that during the heating season, because the house is raised on stilts and the heat comes from ceiling ducts, you need to have warm slippers or house socks. We worked through a rental agent, Susie Oringel and she was very helpful. If we go to Kiawah again, we will definitely try to rent this cottage again.

  I rented this sight unseen at the last minute to join some other friends staying down the street. My family arrived before me. My wife called to tell me that it was more than she could have expected, even from the great photos. Our friends spent more time at the house than they did at the one they had rented. Everything was so great that we may be in a bidding war with them next time we come down! Remember, Susie, we get first dibs.

  We've stayed at two other Kiawah cottages. The others were nice, but this one met all of our preferences. With 3 bedrooms and 4 beds, it fit our group perfectly. The open design of the cottage with glass-enclosed patio was spacious and convenient. The remodeled kitchen and flatscreen TV were great ameneties. The wide-board floors and wrap-around patio were very attractive. But the short walking distance to both the pool and beach with accessible biking trails were the biggest bonus. We plan to get in line for this cottage again next year.

  We had 6 adults and 1 baby at the cottage last week and we just loved it. It was a great location to get to the pool, beach & shops quickly. We enjoyed biking and looking at the lush foliage everywhere. The beds were very comfortable and sheets/towels very nice quality. The updated & generous-sized kitchen had everything we needed. I would not hesitate to stay here again!!!
