It is not until you stay in a real home from home that you truly appreciate what that means – and Villa Christina will leave you in no doubt. From the very first time you park your car in the private gated driveway and climb the few steps to the front door, before entering the open living area, you will feel relaxed, comfortable and entirely at ease. In short, right at home.
Perhaps it's the sumptuous furnishings which adorn the lounge, fully-equipped kitchen with dining table and room to share special times together as a family. It might be the large, luxurious bedrooms, each with a private en-suite bathroom and plenty of storage space for all your clothes and belongings. Maybe you will fall in love with the view from the rooftop terrace which looks out over the gentle surf of the Gulf of Mexico, and from where you can drink in the amazing sunsets for which Anna Maria Island is so famous.
It's most likely a combination of everything about Villa Christina will work its magic on you. The whole property seems to have been created with the sole purpose of helping you relax and making your vacation perfect. With plenty of room in which to have a quiet moment to yourself but intimate enough to be able to enjoy your special time together, there is little wonder that Villa Christina is one of our most popular properties.
Modern amenities and entertainment systems are fitted throughout and as standard, including an elevator for your luggage, high speed DSL Internet access, DVD and stereo, plus cable TV and a telephone in every bedroom. Outside in the tropical landscaped gardens is a private, electrically heated swimming pool with a waterfall, a barbecue area and sun terrace, overlooked by a shaded balcony.
Just a two-minute walk to one of Anna Maria's best family beaches and a real island breakfast institution at Cafe on the Beach, where you can enjoy superb breakfasts and snacks with your feet in the sand, Villa Christina is also in a prime position. With the excellent Publix supermarket and a variety of shops in the shopping precinct opposite and some of Anna Maria's best eating spots nearby, you don't have to travel far when you finally have to leave the villa.
Spend some time here and you will see for yourself – it is possible to combine all the elements of the perfect vacation home in one and then add a little something extra to make it even more special. A visit to Anna Maria Island is a magical experience, and Villa Christina will only add to it.

About the owner: Hi I came to Anna Maria because a friend in Miami said 'You have to see the sunsets on Anna Maria Island'. So we traveled up the next day to the Gulf Coast and arrived just in time to see the most spectacular sunset. My husband said 'I like it here!'. That was 20 years ago. He built Villa Christina for me and it is absolutely divine.
Why the Owner Chose Anna Maria:
Villa Christina is in an excellent location, so it is very easy to get off the island if you want to go and do some serious shopping on the world famous St Armand's Circle
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Enjoying an evening glass of wine sitting by the pool is one of my favorite things to do. Breakfast on the upper deck and lazing in the pool are my idea of heaven.
