  I am delighted to repeat that we had a most enjoyable stay at Le Petit Tresor. The location is great, -remote enough to be really peaceful but close enough to Fayence for food and restaurants! And the whole area of quaint hilltop villages was exactly the kind of French experience we were looking forward to- and allowed us to practice our rusty French! We found the villa suited our needs perfectly, with both couples able to enjoy a bedroom with ensuite and the kitchen and dining facilities were first class. The outdoor area and pool were superb with multiple places to sit either in sun or shade. The pool stayed clean despite daily use and was a very good temperature for swimming.

  We all enjoyed our stay at your villa. The setting is lovely - I walked up and down the hill a few times and enjoyed the terraces of olive trees, and the wonderfully fragrant jasmine outside our bathroom window was an unexpected treat every day. The house is comfortable, well equipped and organized, and we settled in right away. We all appreciated the notebooks of local guides and tourist suggestions, and the appliance instructions were very helpful. European and American appliances are just different enough to be confusing sometimes.

  Your villa is indeed a treasure, well named. Such a great location and setting with so many amenities. Not only charming, delightfully decorated, sunny and bright. We loved everything about the house and most especially the terrace. We sincerely thank-you for sharing it. The front bathroom worked out for my sister with the built in tile bench and the entire house was easy for her to move about in. We loved the well stocked kitchen, the ice maker, having a washer & dryer and baskets. I especially loved the basket filled with maps and books, we borrowed from it a lot. Our stay at "Le Petit Tresor" was truly "merveilleux". In fact I plan to recommend it to friends and hope to return someday if it is still available. MERCI! Paul & Kitty PS- We dined at "LeCastellars' our last night...just about the best meal we have ever had anywhere. phenomenal!

  our family stayed in this villa in mid october 2009 for a week. the weather at this time was very pleasant, we where able to sit outside in the outdoor dining area every day. the villa is in a lovely situation, sitting outside it feels very secluded with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. the villa has several outdoor amenities that we made use of - french bowls, badminton, table tennis, a basketball net. the weather was warm enough for our son to make good use of the pool every day. the villa itself is well appointed, it has all the amenities you will require, three large bedrooms, a big kitchen and a comfortable lounge. although the villa feels like it is in a rural setting you are not far away from two villages, fayence has a convenient supermarket, the boulangerie near by is highly reccomended, you are within striking distance of the riviera, we spent a day in cannes which is very pretty, we also went to monaco which is a bit further up the coast a firm reccomendation is to spend a day exploring the stunning canyons of the verdon gorge, you will never forget the stunning views in between days out we spent a few days relaxing at the villa, the villa is a great base for exploring but is also comfortable enough to stay put and chill out our family had a great time

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

  The house is beautiful - the pictures don't do justice to the size of the place. Well equipped and furnished. Very comfortable beds. Lovely outdoor space and pool. The house is a bit isolated, which makes it peaceful, but also means once you get back from your day's excursions, you want to stay in. We happily cooked from the markets every night. We loved Fayence - lovely restaurants and a nice feel. Seillans (which is a bit closer) is pretty, but apart from a couple of good restaurants, not much street life. Great location for accessing villages and the coast. We particularly enjoyed Frejus, about half an hour away. More information about the functioning of the appliances (in English) would have been helpful.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.
