  We have nothing but good things to say about our experience here. Our stay was exactly what we were looking for. The condo was as advertised and the setting was breathtaking. We had all the amenities we needed for cooking, baking, washing, and uncorking. Days spent in the sun, on the beautiful white sand beach just steps from our door were glorious. It was very easy to catch transportation on the roadside to get down into Red Hook or elsewhere. If we didn't get offered a ride by a local by the time we got up to the road, it was easy to catch a dollar taxi, day or night. The location is fantastic if you enjoy quiet beauty coupled with the easy option of going elsewhere on St. Thomas or catching ferries to St. John or Virgin Gorda as we did, this is the spot for you. The owners are cordial, and very responsive to queries or needs. We will definitely keep this place in mind should our travels return us to St. Thomas. Quick tip - if you enjoy fine dining and a great wine list, do not miss The Old Stone Farmhouse on St. Thomas. Wow. Google it.

  Our experience with the condo was all positive. Bedding fit us perfectly, good layout with open kitchen and two bathrooms, short walk to beautiful beach, everything worked great. Enjoyed being on the east side near Red Hook. Snorkeled at Saphire beach and saw tons of fish just 40 feet from shore. This resort had everthing we needed. Good communications from the owners.

With an owner on-site most of the year it is very easy for us to address the little problems and big problems that may pop up. Of course, the location is perfect and as you said the beach and snorkeling are magnificent, no need to go anywhere else. Or location, less then a mile to Red Hook, opens up excellent options for dining and nightlife. Additionally, with the ferry to St. John, Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, and Virgin Gorda within a mile it is easy to get away for a day and see even more of the beautiful Caribbean.   My family stayed at Crystal Cove West this past week over Thanksgiving and were quite pleased with our stay. It's on undoubtedly the best beach in St. Thomas, with easy access to Red Hook and the ferry to St. John. It's about 35 minutes from the airport at night with traffic, but it is easy enough to find. All the handling of payments were easy and reliable. Great place!

  This was our second visit to your lovely condo and if it is possible, we enjoyed this stay even more. In the 2 1/2 weeks of our visit we never felt cramped or uncomfortable. Everything was clean as a whistle, Maria came by twice to do housekeeping and was a perfectly charming young lady. The kitchen was still well equipped with everything we needed for those nights we decided to stay in and cook. BBQ pit was great for our steak night. This year we brought my 82 year old mother along and she had no problems getting to and from the beach. Diane on the beach provided a big smile and pleasant conversation every day. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants a fantastic stay. Already looking forward to next year :-)

  My family of four (my husband and I and our 2 boys, ages 20 and 15) just returned from our first trip to St. Thomas. We were extremely nervous about booking this trip for many different reasons but Kerry was very kind, honest, helpful, and extremely customer service oriented....something rarely seen and heard of today! He called AND emailed with every update and tid-bit of useful information every chance he had and that really put our minds at ease. Our actual stay at Crystal Cove was just another reflection of the great service Kerry provided....the condo was immaculate and spacious, thankfully, with 2 older boys! We had everything we needed...an abundance of towels, washer and dryer, each condo unit has it's own barbecue grill, and there was even a jar of peanut butter and jelly in the pantry! The beach is gorgeous and crystal blue, the resort compound is very clean, and the people staying/visiting were very friendly. We haven't had a vacation in over 3 years....staying in Kerry's unit on Sapphire Beach was more than worth the wait and we can't wait to return! Thanks again, Kerry!

  This was our family's first trip to the US Virgin Islands. I have to say at first I was a little nervous with renting a condo online but Kerry made the whole thing easy and always emailed back quickly when I had any questions. Once we arrived, finding the condo was easy and the security guard helped us in entering the gate (as we got there late). The Condo was AMAZING!! Definitely more beautiful than we expected (my boyfriend was amazed by the Rum & Coke left for us upon arrival). It was so lovely, very conveinent to the beach (like 40 steps) and the view of everything was awesome. We will definitely be staying again next year and honestly didnt want to leave. My children met other kids staying in the condos and had fun playing football as well as building castles on the sand. If you have doubts, no need to....this is a genuine owner and they are very personable....Loved it all! Kelly B and family

  Hello to those doing your due diligence.....let me tell you that my wife and I are well traveled, and all of these property descriptions make their place sound great...! However, regarding this unit, I can simply tell you to trust your decision and book it. I'm not going to go on and on about how beautiful the beach is, the complex, the pool, the security, the condo, the island....blah blah blah..... I will tell you that the place feels like home...the owners are terrific, accessible, and proactive when you have questions, concerns, or issues. That's what ensures a great vacation.....you can be in the most beautiful place in the world...but if you've got a absentee owner, or problems that aren't addressed....that can ruin things. The condo is clean, a well accommodated kitchen, good sheets, sparkling bathrooms, great parking....and great folks around the complex. Very friendly..... Trust it....you won't regret it......

  My sister and I spent eight perfect (yes perfect) days in paradise. This condo and location was just as promised. Kerry was helpful and responsive before the trip and during that trip. The condo was in great shape and had everything that anyone could need. The wi-fi worked great and was reasonably priced for our stay. The condo has a printer so that was great because we could print our boarding passes. The beach was stunning, and it was only a few steps from our door. We spent a lot of time on the beach and in the water swimming and snorkeling. The people staying at the condos (our neighbors) were friendly too. We rented a car next door from Budget. Be aware though that if you want a car it's probably best to get it at the airport. When we arrived there was no car for us, but by luck someone brought back a car and she gave it to us. We went on the New Horizons Day Sail to St. John -- takes off right next door at Sapphire Bay Marina. It was outstanding. We also did the VI Ecotour which is close by -- outstanding, too. Red Hook is close by - check out the XO Bistro. Of course don't miss a day trip to St. John from Red Hook. We are already talking about returning with my sister's kids (19 & 22) because we loved this place so much and think they would too. We will certainly recommend this condo to others looking to come to the Virgin Islands.

  Crystal Cove was a wonderful get away for our family of four. The beach was beautiful; everything we dreamed it would be. We had snorkel gear at the condo but just a few steps away we could rent paddle boards, windsurfers, kayaks, etc...perfect. The condo was very very nice, clean, updated, and had everything we needed and the location was really terrific. The salt water pool is lovely, clean, refreshing, and greatly appreciated, as is the tennis court. My kids learned how to play shuffleboard, another fun and relaxing activity, and for those who can't relax on the beach all day, there's a lot to do, but yet it's quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed Captain Rick's day trip to St. John on his beautiful sailboat, Nightwind, located at Sapphire Marina. He sailed us around the waters and then snorkeled Hawk's Nest Bay and Cinnamon Bay with breakfast, lunch, desert and any flavor drink we requested, and then leisurely sailed back "home". We enjoyed Duffy's Love Shack for some fun with our college age kids, dinner at Bamboozille (spelling?), and a few other restaurants which were all friendly and fun. We did not get good shrimp at Fish Tails, our only disappointment (besides the high prices which is unavoidable as far as we knew). Keep in mind that food prices are quite high and that even the grocery store is not inexpensive, to say the least. There's a grill to use at the condo which makes the eat-ins fun nights and walks along the beach at night very memorable. Sunshine, warm ocean water, a lovely breeze, and a completely relaxing week made this trip a wonderful vacation for our family. Bring a few great books and your in for a wonderful week.

  November 1, 2011 – November 10, 2011 Philadelphia, PA Dear Kerry & Kevin, A couple of words I would use to describe our vacation here at Crystal Cove would be... beautiful, wonderful, relaxing, & fun-filled! Our overall experience was awesome and exactly what we were hoping for. We have stayed in another unit in Crystal Cove before and the condo was nice and acceptable but when planning our next vacation to St Thomas we will make sure we stay in Unit B-5 again. Kerry & Kevin. you have not overlooked one detail. From the fresh towels, to the snorkeling gear, to the rum & cokes greeting you on the table for when you first arrive to the condo. Not one thoughtful detail has been forgotten! As wonderful as our “home away from home” was, we did not spend a lot of time there because the outdoors were calling. Crystal Cove, Sapphire beach, is amazing and has everything for everyone to enjoy. For our party of five, we were never bored. We snorkeled, we suntanned, we sat in the shade of the Sea Grape trees & we watched the ducks waddle by. The iguanas were a sight to see. Some of us observing them from a greater distance than others, ..hahaha! And we drank and than drank some more! Most nights we took a short cab ride into Redhook and enjoyed the nightlife there. Other nights we took a 10 minute walk (a 15 minute walk if you have a drink in your hand) to Sapphire Bar and Grill, which was excellent. There was a ton more things we could have done or seen, but we ended up doing exactly what we felt like. Overall our vacation was amazing and are already planning to come back to B-5 for a longer stay! Thank you & Best wishes!

We love Sapphire Bay of all the places we've stayed on the island. Your condo was perfect -comfortable, convenient, clean, with everything we could need. We're already planning our next trip back .   This was our 6th visit to St Thomas and thanks to the great accommodations it was the best. The condo far exceeded our expectations. Clean as a whistle, comfortable and beautiful surroundings. Beach access was great, (we never made it to the pool). Enjoyed snorkling and Diane at the beach was a pleasure. The owner was great in answering our questions prior to our arrival. Easy walk to the road to catch the Safari as we did not rent a car. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this condo would be purely selfish and to save the availability for myself. The washer and dryer was a definate plus. It was so great not to have to face 2 weeks worth of laundry on our arrival home. Looking forward to staying here for our 2012 visit.

  Feb 22-28 2011 Needling, MA We spent a week at B5 and had a fantastic time. We went to Coki Beach, Magens Bay (stopped by Udder Delite for a milkshake) and went out on a snorkeling trip. The wind here an Sapphire beach was really strong but we got to watch a lot of crazy wind surfers and kite surfers. The place was great and worked perfectly for our family of 4. Thanks for the sun and fun.

  Feb 12 – 19 2011 Long Island, NY I was so pleasantly surprised by so many things: the comfort of the condo, with all the necessary kitchen equipment, flat screen TV in bedroom & living room, 2 king size beads, 2 bathrooms, A/C, wireless internet service, view of the gorgeous beech with multiple shades of blue, the friendly neighbors & condo staff. Most of all I was blown away by the kindness & hospitality of Kerry. Your web site was also loaded with invaluable info about the condo, the beaches, restaurants, transportation, places to see & so much more. Next year I want to return & hope to stay an extra week! This island & this beach are 2 very well kept secrets. I hope that all future visitors enjoy their stay as much as my mom (age 86 1/2 and I enjoyed our short stay in B5. A million thank you's from Kate & Mary P.S. Also loved the books & magazines about the island. Outlining must see places & beautiful photos. You guys didn't overlook anything!   my 86 year old mom and i spent a most enjoyable and memorable week at this condo. this was my first endeavor to rent a condo on the beach (via the internet) and i was more than pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. the condo was very comfortable and everything that we needed (right down to a cooler to take to the beach) was provided. the location was awesome, the beach was beautiful, the water was delightful and the condo staff were pleasant and accomodating. the information provided by the owners on the internet and literature in the condo was extremely helpful. i will definitely be back next year!!

  Jan 17-29, 2011 After missing flights, we finally arrived a day late and in the dark. Tired, cranky and hot - we made it to B-5! The coolness of the air, the white and blues of the room, the rum and coke on the table. Thank you for our first of many smiles to come. The weather, ocean, people, breeze and shopping were perfect.   Dec 28, 2010 - Jan 4, 2011 Happy New Year! We had a wonderful time during our week at Sapphire Beach - great location, comfy place that made us feel at home! The Breakaway Day Excursion to BVI is fantastic and highly recommended. We also enjoyed hiking and beach hopping on St. John - how funny to meet Kerry at Woody's! The remainder of the New Jersey winter is going to seem very long after a week of fun and sun. New Jersey

  Condo was comfy and clean; worked out well for our family of 5. Sapphire Beach was great, close proximity to Red Hook worked out well. Never could manage to catch that $1 taxi; next time we would rent a car to save on taxi costs. Owners were extremely helpful in answering questions and offering advice. Would definitely recommend!

  Owner response: We are so glad you and your family enjoyed your stay at our vacation home. The dollar taxi has no set schedule but normally pass by the entrance to Crystal Cove, going towards Red Hook, every 10 to 15 minutes from about 5:00 am to 9:00 pm.

  Nov 18-22, 2010 Our family of five enjoyed our stay at Crystal Cove. We were here for a family members funeral and although a sad occasion, we made the best of it. After the funeral we caught the ferry to St. John and enjoyed a day at Trunk Bay. We spent one evening at Sapphire Bay and took some beautiful pictures. The condo was very comfortable and accommodated 5 adults very well. The Iguanas passing at our front door will be a lasting memory. P.S. We found that the best way to travel is by the Safari taxi(only $1 - $2). Best regards, Orlando, FL

Chilling by the beautiful blue water exceptional! Loved Latitude 18! Live music and delicious food! K-Mart handy for sundries! Wear sunscreen and have a wonderful time!   March 2, 2010 Just finished our breakfast on the porch and going over favorite moments of the past week. With two teenage girls, the live music at Latitude 18 was great fun...fresh fish and relaxing. We loved the view and snorkeling at Sapphire Beach, saw a sea turtle while snorkeling at Secret Harbor. Scuba dived at Trunk Bay and checked out Meagan's Bay. Unbelievable weather and ambiance. Met friendly people everywhere. Back to Vermont today and a couple more months of cold. We will be back!!   Feb 2, 2010 We have had a wonderful week here at Crystal Cove B-5. Our accommodations were above and beyond our expectations. Everything was here that we needed and the rum and coke was a nice welcome. We arranged a snorkeling outing through the dive place here on the beach. The Challenger skipper, Paul, and his mate, Gina, were terrific and even hooked us up with some fresh fish. One day we took the Ferry to St. John and went to Salt Pond to snorkel. It was nice but not really any better than here at Sapphire Beach. The Safari Bus (the Dollar Bus) was a great way to see the island and to save a little on taxi fare. The Marina Market was great since we prepared all our meals in the apartment. The owners and guests were pretty friendly and conversational if you were so inclined. For two upstate New Yorkers - leaving 20 degree weather and coming here for a week... words are not enough to express our joy and contentment to soak up some salt water and sunshine!   I stayed at this wonderful condo for a week in January. It was fabulous. The location was amazing. 60 seconds to the beach is accurate. I literally rolled out of bed threw on the trucks and went for a swim while the coffee brewed. At night, we always had a blast in Red hook, 5 minutes away, or in St. Johns, a 10 minute beautiful ferry ride from Red Hook. The condo was beautiful, why anyone would spend 400 a night at the Marriott is beyond me. This particular condo is in amazing shape, it is obviously well cared for. I had a full size kitchen, King sized bed, Living room, porch and two big flat panel TV’s...and I was 100 steps from being in the water. I am heading back and this is where I will be staying. Thank You for sharing your treasure with us.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Your newly renovated condominium was so much more then I expected. We found it to be both elegant and cozy at the same time. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. We will be back!

  What an awesome condo. It's been remodeled into a Caribbean theme and it looks great and is very comfortable. It has everything you need for your personal pleasure and comfort. It's also located on a very quiet part of the island right on a beautiful beach. The condo is a lower unit about a two minute walk to the beach (you'll probably see a few Iguana's on your walk), and the grounds are just immaculate. There is off street parking if you rent a car and if not, Red Hook is just a short, very reasonably priced cab ride away. There are restaurants, shopping and a grocery store there and the ferry to St. Johns is also located there. It's a reasonably priced ride over and back to St. Johns where there are several more restaurants within walking distance of the pier where you will dock. The beach at the condo is just gorgeous, white sand with crystal clear water and plenty of room (I was there at Christmas time and the water temp. was perfect). There was very good snorkeling too as the water is so clear. The view is pure picture book, you have to see to believe. I still look at my photos and can hardly believe I was there. There is a day long boat tour of the close by islands (worth your time and money) and the loading up place is within walking distance of this condo. There is also an open seat 'Taxi' tour of the island that is very reasonably priced, and you can also walk to a pick up point for it. The condo complex has a salt water pool located on the grounds for your pleasure. It also has it's own reverse osmosis water purification system and the water is extremely pure. There are washers and dryers available too. This condo is very well maintained and conveniently located to all points of interest on the island. I highly recommend it for your pleasure.

  Owner response: Thank you Gary, We are glad you enjoyed it. Since you have stayed we have done a host of renovations. I know it looked good before but now it looks Awesome. Hard to beat the beach access and the proximity to so many activities. For those reading the review Gary wrote, if you are interested, please inquire about the boat trip, I can tell you where to go for more information, the trip is worth double what is charged.
