A newly renovated, fully equiped and well appointed charming row house in Foggy Bottom. The location is great- 2 blocks from Metro, near good restaurants. The owner was very attentive to our needs. The price was very reasonable for the quality of accommodations provided. We recommend this rental without qualification!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Our family of 5 (kids ages 19, 16 and 13) stayed here for Spring Break and had a great time. The location was perfect, just 2 blocks from the Metro and a short walk into Georgetown. The townhome was lovely - sparkling clean and very comfortable. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again when visiting the area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Five of us, all adults rented this beautiful townhome for a visit to our sons who all attend GW. The location is perfect on a quiet tree lined street, but walk a few blocks and the metro, dining, shopping and sightseeing await you. The home was well equipped and had everything we needed. The deck was a great place to unwind after a long day. The property was very clean, tidy and well organized. Diana provided all the information we needed prior to our arrival and we even had parking behind another unit. I would recomend this property to anyone traveling in this area of DC.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Everything other reviewers have written is correct. The location couldn't be better. Two blocks to the Metro. Half-dozen blocks to Georgetown. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, six and three blocks, respectively. Kitchen has everything you need. All applicances, showers, toilets, etc. work. When we arrived the toaster didn't work and I texted owner and the next day there was a new toaster. We are a family of four, two adults and kids 14 & 11. We were there for eight nights and it was perfect for us. Neighborhood felt safe and was quiet. A great place to return to after a long day of sightseeing.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

The location of this townhome is about 1-1/2 to 2 blocks from the metro (blue and orange line) This rental had everything we needed. Full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms + den. Laundry (real convenient). Diana the owner was easy to work with. We had an issue with the a/c but Diana had a repair person come in to recharge the system. Hopefully it is working well now because it started to get very warm before we left. This was the most ideal location and we are really glad we found this place. I recommend everyone to stay here. The property was clean and well maintained. The garden was a lovely place to hang out after a day of touring. Close to many eating places. Close to Trader Joes, CVS.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My parents and in-laws stayed here while we were in DC for a GW graduation. The owners were very nice and helpful. They answered all our questions prior to visit. The house was close to metro, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, CVS, church, sweetgreens, and an easy place to catch a taxi. Would recommend this rental. It was a perfect gathering place for our family. Stairs were a little steep but manageable.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Our family of five (children ages 22, 19 and 16) had a fantastic spring break trip to Washington DC this year. We experienced so much of the culture of DC -- monuments, museums, zoo, a college visit, great restaurants, gourmet cupcakes and more, but our experience staying in this wonderful townhouse and neighborhood made the trip truly special. Very near a Metro stop and not too far of a walk to the monuments and war memorials, it was an exceptional home base. Extremely comfortable, plenty of room for everyone (not like a hotel stay where everyone is clumped together and has to use beds as seating . . . yuck!), and all the modern conveniences of home! We loved sitting on the patio, looking out at the Watergate Complex, for "Happier Hour" at the end of each day before we'd head out to dinner. There is nothing that could have made our trip better, except staying for another week. :) Many thanks, Diana, for the hospitality and everything you did to make our trip so exceptional! -- Your new friends from St. Louis.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

My son and I traveled with my father in law for a five day college tour in and around DC. We wanted to get the feel of the area without being sanitized in a chain hotel. We took a leap of faith on this Foggy Bottom townhouse, and it could not have been any better. The space, the location and the comfort was better than any 5 star hotel. The access to the Metro, the stores and restaurants was extremely easy. The only negative to the experience is that we only stayed a few days, and the unfortunate reality that we don't live there. It was a pleasant experience that I highly recommend.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Our family of 5 (kids = 16, 13, 8 years old) just returned from a great DC trip. This townhouse was the perfect homebase and I agree with the other reviewers that Diana was super helpful and the house was ideally located. We used the Metro most of the time, but did rent a car to tour Gettysburg and Diana was quick to get us a parking permit. The Trader Joe's, Safeway and coming-soon Whole Foods in the neighborhood provide a huge cost savings for those traveling with hungry teenagers. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and kitchen looked brand new. Highly recommend this spot!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
