This vacation home is a must if you want to be close enough to civilization but far enough to collect your private thoughts! The beach home is located directly on the beach and includes an unobstructed view of the gulf. I and 13 family members and friends stayed the week after Labor Day weekend and were amazed at how much room we had. The home is chic yet totally liveable. Kaiser Realty of Gulf Shores manages the property and has excellent customer service. The property is well-maintained and conveniently located on the main beach road in Gulf Shores. Grocery stores, wine and spirits stores, surf gear, and shopping are literally minutes away. All bedrooms were tastefully decorated with comfort and liveability in mind. The master bedroom and bath however was a dream come true! This room had a large bed with tv/dvd player, garden style tub and large separate shower. In addition, there was plenty of closet space. The most breathtaking part about this room was the private balcony. I literally slept on the balcony for two nights - it was just so peaceful and beautiful! Additionally, the kitchen is adequately equipped for all visitors with an adequate amount of household dishes for a sizeable crew. Don't miss out on first level balcony - it was a fan favorite with my family. The owners, Shawn and Greg are the best! I absolutely love chatting and doing business with Shawn. Just talking with her I can tell that she is a person of integrity and high standards. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to partake in a slice of Bama heaven. The only downside to the trip (minus having to leave) was the sofa sleeper. If you have back problems I recommend either bringing an air mattress or take up one of the 6 bunkbeds conveniently located inside the home. Also, older adults or individuals with knee problems might experience some difficulty as this home is a two story that requires one to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the living area. In conclusion, this beach home is certainly worth the money. Now that my family and I have visited, we are hooked! We look forward to returning and doing business with Shawn and Greg again soon.
