Papa's House is located on the picturesque Sand Beach Road, just a mile and a half from the village of Stonington.
Completely renovated in 2007, the light and airy upstairs bedroom offers beautiful views of the Thoroughfare and is furnished with a queen bed. Downstairs you'll find a sitting/kitchen area fully equipped with a four burner cook top, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, toaster oven and all utensils including a lobster pot. There is a small, covered deck with a BBQ, table and chairs. Facing due west, you'll be sure to enjoy picture perfect sunsets and cool evening ocean breezes.
Stonington village offers many galleries, shops restaurants and the Stonington Opera House which offers many live shows throughout the season. You can also enjoy watching the bustling working waterfront with the fishermen bringing home their days catch.
Papa's House is pet friendly. However, because Papa's House sits close to the road and is near other cottages, guests are requested to keep their dogs leashed at all times.
So whether your ideal vacation includes island hopping via kayak, enjoying fresh seafood, basking in the sun at Sand Beach or just relaxing listening to the fog horn of nearby Mark Island Light, Papa's House is the place to stay!

Pets are welcomed with a $50 pet fee that is refundable after inspection.
Pets are requested to be never left unattended in Papa's House.
Depending on availability, we will consider a three night minimum stay
at $145/night.
Above rates do not include Maine's 7% lodging tax.
